After thorough testing in normal home use, I can say that this purifier is definitely not a cheap plastic toy, but a serious and highly functional piece of technology, although you have to take into account that it really takes up a lot of space. But that is probably the only problem you will have with this purifier. Let's take a look at it.
Premium design and flexible air direction
It is clear from the moment you unpack the box that no expense has been spared on materials. The construction is metal, very robust and has a truly elegant and premium look. The purifier will easily become a tasteful addition to your interior. An essential and very practical feature is the ability to adjust the angle of the outlet fan. It can be manually tilted between 45 and 90 degrees. Thanks to this, you can direct the flow of purified air exactly where you need it, which is simply missing from most competing models with a fixed top exhaust.
Three-stage filtration that makes sense and saves your wallet
The heart of the device is, of course, its filtration system. Levoit has opted for a solid three-stage filtration system. The first line is the external pre-filter, which captures the largest impurities, such as flying dust, textile fibers and especially animal hair. A huge advantage is that this pre-filter is fully washable. Whenever it is clogged, you can simply remove it, clean it and put it back, instead of having to throw it away. This not only saves you money on constantly buying new filters, but you are also being more environmentally friendly and significantly prolonging the life of the main filter inside. With proper maintenance, you only need to change the main filter approximately once a year, which I can confirm. I use a smaller model (100S) and change the filter after a year. It must be said that due to the rabbit present, the filter gets a real workout.
Behind the pre-filter is the most important thing. Namely, a high-quality True HEPA filter supplemented with HEPASmart technology and a special ARC formula. This filter is much more reliable than the commonly used ones. varianty and can capture up to 99,97% of airborne particles, down to an incredible size of 0,3 microns. In practice, this means that it reliably filters out fine dust, pollen, mold, bacteria and animal hair.
