If you're a LEGO Star Wars fan, start saving up now. 2027 is not just another year of new spaceships and smaller sets, but one of the most exciting times for the legendary LEGO series in recent memory. leaker Carterbricks04 has published an extensive overview of upcoming building sets, which reveals plans for practically the entire next year. And if at least most of the information is confirmed, there will definitely be something to talk about. But before we get into the details, it is necessary to add in one breath that this is still unofficial information. LEGO has not yet confirmed these building sets and the names, numbers of pieces and release dates of some of them may change.
January will start off big, May will bring the first UCS
The very beginning of the year is supposed to be really packed, according to the published overview. For example, the new X-Wing Microfighter with 120 pieces is expected to arrive, Anakin's Jedi fighter with 160 pieces, or Darth Vader Art, a display model with 628 pieces. Also interesting is the Duel on Mustafar, which is supposed to offer 372 pieces and commemorate one of the most iconic duels in the entire saga. Fans of the original trilogy will then reportedly look forward to the Battle of Endor, the new Y-Wing fighters, or the duel on Bespin.
Also worth noting is the enlarged Luke Skywalker figure, which is said to consist of 981 pieces. LEGO is apparently continuing its line of giant figures. minifigures that have been gaining popularity in recent years. There is also a Stormtrooper helmet inspired by the original Star Wars concepts, which could be interesting especially for fans of the history of the film saga.
April is supposed to be no less interesting, according to the leak. In addition to several as-yet-unnamed fighters, the return of the iconic AT-AT is also expected, this time in a Smart Play version with 903 pieces. The same technology is also supposed to be used by R2-D2 with 538 pieces. Whether and how exactly these kits will differ from the classic models, but the leak does not yet reveal, so we can only guess what exactly it will be. Personally, I would bet on medium-sized models that will make different sounds and react to the surroundings with NFC labels.
It then attracts a lot of attention Cloud City, the Cloud City from The Empire Strikes Back, or a building set paying tribute to George Lucas himself. It is supposed to offer 523 pieces, and given that Star Wars will celebrate 50 years since the premiere of the first film in 2027, such an homage would definitely make sense. There is even a LEGO Star Wars Movie Theater with 1628 pieces, but its appearance is unfortunately still shrouded in mystery.
The first real big attraction for collectors should arrive in May. LEGO is reportedly preparing the UCS TIE Adv.anced under the designation 75475. The exact number of pieces and the price are not yet known, but the very idea of a detailed Vader fighter in large scale is definitely tempting. The June offer is to be completed by the Death Star II in a smaller scale, which ponewith the designation 75465.

August will bring a Marvel crossover, October a new Millennium Falcon
The second half of the year should definitely not be boring either. In August, according to Carterbricks04, for example, a buildable Master Yoda with approximately 1200 pieces, UCS Anakin's Jedi Interceptor, or other kits using Smart Play technology are expected to arrive. Specifically, there is talk of Boba Fett's ship, the Ewok attack, and the Battle of Hoth. However, for some Smart Play models, different dates appear in other leaks, so an August release cannot be considered certain yet.
We also have the Star Wars and Marvel crossover to look forward to, which we previously reported on. The leaked list includes LEGO Iron Falcon 75481, a somewhat crazy combination of the Avengers and Star Wars universe, for August. In addition to it, another crossover kit is also in the works, the specific form of which is not yet known.
But LEGO is apparently saving the biggest event of the year for October. That's when the LEGO Star Wars 75487 UCS Millennium Falcon is due to arrive, which should replace the current legendary model 75192 from 2017. With its 7541 pieces, it is one of the most famous and largest LEGO Star Wars sets ever, and its discontinuation is planned for this year. The new Falcon could therefore arrive practically exactly ten years after its predecessor. It is also interesting that the first UCS Millennium Falcon was released in 2007. So if LEGO is indeed preparing another version for 2027, we will have a rather nice ten-year tradition.

We don't know anything about the number of pieces, the price, or the specific shape of the new Falcon yet. Personally, I'm really curious to see how far LEGO can go. Even after almost ten years, the current model is so sophisticated that it will definitely not be easy to come up with something significantly better. That's why I'm a little worried that high expectations will be replaced by a big disappointment, as was the case with the last version of the Death Star, which didn't really impress fans with its workmanship or price.
And to make matters worse, the leak also suggests several other sets that could appear as early as 2028. There is talk, for example, of a new Ewok village, a Bounty Hunter Pursuit scene, or other models connecting Star Wars with Marvel. So if the published information is confirmed, LEGO Star Wars fans are in for a truly extraordinary year. And it's no wonder. The fiftieth anniversary of Star Wars is an opportunity that LEGO can hardly miss. Now all that's left to do is wait for the first official presentation and hope that as many of the extensive list as possible will be realized.
