LEGO is clearly stepping on the gas this year, and after the recent unveiling of new sets related to Jurassic Park or a nostalgic trip to the golden age of aviation, it is now turning the helm in a completely different direction. This time, it is heading to a galaxy far, far away, where it has prepared a pair of new products that will delight Star Wars fans and everyone who can stand stylish display pieces.

A pair of busts, specifically Yoda and Darth Vader, come onto the scene, which are striking at first glance because they try to look more adult than classic play sets. LEGO is clearly continuing the trend of offering playful building sets as well as models that you would rather display on a shelf next to your Mac than on the carpet in your child's room. At the same time, however, they are relatively small and therefore affordable pieces, which is definitely nice.

The Yoda bust will arrive as a set labeled 75438 and will offer 399 pieces. According to leaked information and photos, it is clear that LEGO has focused on the typical features of this iconic character, i.e. large ears, calm expression and overall miniminimalist, but relatively faithful workmanship. Simplicity could be its most powerful weapon, because this type of model can function as an inconspicuous, yet clearly recognizable accessory on the table.

A slightly darker note is brought by Darth Vader, who arrives as set 75439 with 349 pieces. In his case, the emphasis is mainly on the helmet, shiny elements and an overall more pronounced silhouette, which will look much more dominant on the shelf. So if you want something that will attract attention at first glance, Vader could be the right choice.

The pricing is also interesting. Yoda is set to cost $49,99, while Darth Vader will cost $59,99, suggesting that LEGO is targeting these models as relatively affordable collectibles. These aren't giant sets for weekend builds, but rather smaller pieces that you can assemble in an evening and display the next day. Both models are expected to go on sale on April 26, 2026.
