Under the banner of LEGO Ideas, a huge Godzilla consisting of more than five thousand pieces is to arrive, which will compete in size with the largest exhibition models currently on offer.

But what we get for our money is much more interesting. According to the leak, LEGO was inspired by the modern form of Godzilla from Legendary's MonsterVerse film, and the resulting monster is supposed to measure approximately 55 to 60 centimeters in height. So if this figure is confirmed, it will definitely not be a small figure for a shelf, but a proper exhibition model that will be practically impossible to miss in a room.
Godzilla gets his atomic breath too
The design is said to be based directly on the Godzilla movie, so it's probably no surprise that LEGO reportedly didn't forget about the characteristic blue-glowing dorsal spines, which could be one of the most visually interesting elements of the entire kit, especially if LEGO uses a larger number of transparent blue pieces.
Moreover, the model is not just a static statue. According to current information, it is supposed to have a posable head and will also include a removable atomic breath that can be inserted into Godzilla's mouth and, what's more, the tongue is also supposed to be removable. The leak does not yet reveal how much mobility the hands, legs or tail will have. However, we do know that the kit will reportedly not include any minifigurines.
On the other hand, the gift with purchase should be interesting. According to the leak, a separate bonus set is planned for LEGO Godzilla, depicting a giant Godzilla footprint, which should also contain a printed piece with Mothra. Details on the number of pieces or the conditions for obtaining it are not yet known, but with a building kit costing around $450, such a bonus would definitely make sense.
