Danish building toy giant LEGO is clearly not holding back this year and continues to improve its dinosaur line. Following the previous success of the Dinosaur Fossils: Tyrannosaurus rex model (76968), which brought fans the iconic T-rex skeleton with movable joints and two minifigures from the film, now comes its logical sequel in the form of a dinosaur fossil: Triceratops (77985). However, LEGO has only revealed it through a short video so we will have to wait for more official information. However, there are rumors about the set in the corridors in a big way.

The new model is supposed to be slightly smaller, with 1,154 pieces, yet it retains all the details that made the previous model a hit among collectors. KosThe Triceratops is, at least visually, very carefully crafted, with correct proportions and realistic details, and fans will certainly be pleased with the debut of the new minifigures – Dr. Gerry Harding, who adds the world of Jurassic Park directly to your building kit.
As with the T-rex, LEGO adds a few small references to the movies to the Triceratops, so that the construction is not just a mechanical puzzle, but also a small lesson in dinosaur history and film nostalgia. The model will also become an impressive decoration for adult fans thanks to the elaborate joints and realistic base. With a price of around 99,99 USD, we can therefore expect that the LEGO Triceratops will soon find its way into the collections of all dinosaur lovers and LEGO Jurassic World collectors. The construction is again intuitive and supported by the LEGO Builder application, where you can follow the progress in 3D and save individual models.
Overall, the new Triceratops seems like an ideal continuation of the series that will please both nostalgics and new generations of dinosaur fans. So if you are fascinated by dinosaurs or the Jurassic Park movies, this kit definitely deserves a place on your shelf.
