Just a few days ago, we informed you that LEGO was apparently preparing another Star Trek building kit. Leaked information at the time indicated that it wanted to follow up on the legendary USS Enterprise model with a detailed diorama of the ship's iconic bridge. At the time, however, we only had basic information about the number of pieces, price, and release date. Now, things are moving a bit further.

The first ever photos of the upcoming set have leaked online, confirming that it is indeed a detailed model of the USS Enterprise NCC-1701 bridge from the original Star Trek series. And it must be said that if the photos are genuine, fans have reason to be excited. LEGO seems to have focused on maximal fidelity to the original. The dominant feature of the kit is of course the command bridge itself with the captain's chair, navigation stations, communication consoles and typical screens. But it is not just one scene. The set should also include two other iconic parts of the Enterprise - a transporter and a hospital section with a biobed, which can be attached to the main model or displayed separately.

The lineup will undoubtedly be a big attraction minifigures. In the leaked photos, you can recognize Captain James T. Kirk, Spock, Leonard McCoy, Nyota Uhuru, Montgomery Scott, Hikaru Sulu, Pavel Chekov and Christine Chapel. There are also small thematic accessories, including tricorders, communicators and a model of the planet that Kirk is holding in his hand. In addition, information that was leaked earlier is confirmed. The set is to be numbered 11385, offer 1,701 pieces, recommended age 18+ and, according to the leaked materials, go on sale on September 1st for a price of $200. The dimensions of the model are to be approximately 57 × 34 centimeters, so it will be a fairly significant exhibition piece.

If all the leaks so far are confirmed, it will be a clear sign that LEGO is taking its newly acquired Star Trek license seriously. After the USS Enterprise model, another kit is coming, aimed primarily at adult fans of this legendary sci-fi saga. And honestly? If the resulting model looks as good as the leaked photos, LEGO has one of the most interesting licensed sets of this year.
