Fans of iconic cars have something to look forward to. And if the information so far is correct, it will be one of the most successful car kits LEGO has ever introduced in the Icons series.

The British Jaguar E-Type is still considered one of the most beautiful cars in history, and according to the first photos, LEGO really took care to transfer its elegant shapes to the world of bricks. The model will impress with its characteristic long hood, dark green paintwork and a lot of elaborate details, thanks to which it looks much more realistic than many older cars in this series.
LEGO takes its car models one step further
Cars are among the most successful building sets for adult fans, and LEGO has been constantly expanding their range in recent years. In addition to the Lamborghini Countach, Porsche 911, Shelby Cobra or Ford Model T, now it is the turn of the legendary Jaguar E-Type. It is clear from the new model that the designers have once again raised the bar a little higher. The body looks smoother, the individual curves are more faithful to the real car and there are also a number of functional elements. The doors, hood and trunk can be opened, under which there is even a small tool kit. The folding canvas roof adds an additional dose of authenticity to the model. According to available information, the kit will contain 1,673 pieces and measure approximately 37 centimeters in length.
Does competition help?
The timing of the news is interesting. In recent months, competing car kits from Mattel, created in collaboration with the Hot Wheels brand, have also become increasingly popular. This competition may be one of the reasons why LEGO is adding even more detail to its premium models and trying to offer the most faithful reproduction of real cars.
Initial fan reactions have been very positive, with many praising how well the Jaguar's elegant silhouette, which is one of the most difficult car shapes to create, has been captured. If the actual model lives up to the leaked photos, the Jaguar E-Type could be one of the most successful cars in the history of the LEGO Icons series.
