Power banks are among the accessories that most of us buy with good intentions, but after a few weeks they often end up in a drawer somewhere. Either they are too big, heavy, or their use is not as convenient as we would imagine. So when I got my hands on the new EPICO models UltraPack Qi2 25W Slim 5000mAh and UltraPack Qi2 25W 10000mAh, I was mainly curious about whether they could offer anything extra compared to dozens of similar products on the market that I have tested in recent years. And after a few weeks of use, I have to say that this is where EPICO managed to strike a very interesting balance between design, practicality, performance and...onewith modern battery technology. So let's take a closer look at these power banks.
Technical specifications, processing and design
At the outset, it should be noted that both models differ primarily in battery capacity, dimensions and weight. I have therefore decided to summarize their evaluation in one joint review. At first glance, it is clear that EPICO is primarily aimed at users of iPhones and other devices supporting the latest Qi2 standard. Both power banks have Qi2 25W certification, thanks to which they can wirelessly charge compatible devices (in the case of iPhones, we are talking about models iPhone 16, 16 Pro, 17, 17 Pro and Air) exonem up to 25 W. For older Qi2 devices, charging is supported byonem 15 W and for classic Qi devices 7,5 W. In practice, these are some of the most powerful wireless power banks I've come across recently.
The model that naturally attracts the most attention UltraPack Qi2 25W Slim with a capacity of 5000 mAh. It is extremely thin, with a thickness of only 8,3 mm. Thanks to miniThe slim thickness makes it practically invisible after being snapped onto the back of the iPhone. nestIt prevents you from using the phone, which is the feature I personally liked the most during testing.
You can find a lot of MagSafe power banks on the market, which work well, but when connected to your phone, they turn it into a rather shapeless brick. UltraPack Fortunately, the Qi2 25W Slim goes the opposite way. The phone remains relatively thin, holds well, and you can use it without any problems even while charging.
The second model tested was varianta with a capacity of 10000 mAh. It is logically a little more robust, but still surprisingly compact considering the capacity. In this case, it is definitely not just about emergency charging during the day, but about a power bank that can easily save a longer weekend trip or a more demanding workday.
The aluminum body in combination with the rubberized sides and bottom deserves great praise. It is not just a design element, but on the contrary a well-thought-out functional solution. Aluminum helps with heat dissipation and the entire device looks significantly more premium than most of the plastic competition. The rubberized sides and bottom feel very comfortable in the hand, absorb any falls and prevent the back of the phone from being scratched. The integrated strong magnets then hold the phone really reliably in place, so you don't have to worry about it accidentally coming loose during use.
As for colors, both the Slim and the larger model are available in silver-white and dark blue colors. variawhich, by the way, are two of the three colors in which Apple currently offers iPhone 17 Pro. Maybe it's a bit of a shame that EPICO didn't dare to be the third to join the party and create an orange version for owners of orange iPhones 17 Pro. On the other hand, the white variaThis color version will also suit you - after all, they also bet on a white back Apple with its transparent cover.
The real interesting thing is the use of the so-called Semi-solid state battery. It is a more modern design with a lower proportion of liquid electrolyte, which is supposed to offer higher safety, slower capacity degradation and, according to the manufacturer, up to 2,5 times longer life compared to conventional lithium-ion batteries. EPICO also lists resistance to temperatures up to 60 °C and a life of approximately 2000 to 3000 charging cycles, which is a parameter that the average user may not fully appreciate at first glance, but in the long run it can be much more important than the battery capacity itself.

The smaller model uses it for fast wired charging of devices, the larger varianta then offers 30W of power both for charging the power bank itself and for powering other devices. In addition to phones, it can also charge tablets or some smaller laptops without any problems. You will also be pleased with the LED battery status indicator (there are four classic diodes symbolizing 25% battery + one indicating charging in progress), the possibility of wireless charging AirPods (whereby AirPods Pro 3, thanks to the MagSafe case, they stuck perfectly to the power bank and held like nails) and other compatible headphones or the included USB-C cable, which is definitely not a given.
It is also worth mentioning one thing that we definitely do not see every day with similar accessories. EPICO provides an extended warranty for its products of up to 10 years from the date of purchase. After the standard statutory warranty has expired, the customer is assured that the manufacturer will take care of the product in the following years. In addition, if a claim is accepted, EPICO declares an exchange for a new piece, or for a comparable model from the current offer. For accessories that are often considered more like consumer electronics, this is definitely a nice bonus that will please.
Testing
I admit that I've been using MagSafe power banks quite often in recent years, which is why I was quite picky about the new products from EPICO. However, they still passed the test with flying colors.

The 5000 mAh capacity won't work miracles, but it's more than enough for normal everyday use. If your battery starts to run low during the day iPhone, you simply clip the power bank to your back and in no time you have enough energy for the rest of the day. But what impressed me even more than the capacity itself was the speed of wireless charging. Compared to older MagSafe and Qi power banks, it is clear that the modern Qi2 25W technology can get energy to the phone much faster and the overall user comfort is significantly higher.
The strong magnets hold really reliably and even when normally carrying it in your hand or pocket I did not feel that there was a risk of unwanted disconnection. A very pleasant surprise was the Qi2 25W charging itself, which you can really feel compared to older wireless power banks. In other words, it is really noticeable that the phone receives energy faster and overall the charging seems more efficient. The manufacturer states on its website at iPhone The 17 Pro charged from 0 to 54% in 30 minutes, while I was perhaps even a percent more successful, partly due to the already slightly worn battery of my 17 Pro, and I got to 55% in half an hour.

The 10000 mAh model will appeal to users who want more power. Personally, I used it mainly while traveling or in situations where I knew I would be out all day.ancbattery. This is where its greatest advantage is revealed. While the smaller model is ideal as an elegant everyday companion, the larger version works more like a universal power bank for your phone, tablet or other electronics. However, keep in mind that even though the latest standard is used here, the 5000mAh model will charge your iPhone 17 For a comfortable one, twice for a larger one. You can't fool physics and the losses that occur during charging.
I was also pleased that neither power bank overheated during use. The aluminum body is clearly doing a good job here, which you can literally feel with your own skin. Of course, we are not talking about the power bank not getting hot at all when charging, because that would not be true. However, the heat it emits is really negligible and rather than burning your hand, it will pleasantly warm you. Thanks to this, using your phone while connected is completely problem-free and continues to be pleasant.
Summary
EPIC UltraPack Qi2 25W Slim 5000mAh and UltraPack Qi2 25W 10000mAh are power banks that, after a few days of use, you will get used to carrying with you all the time. Each is aimed at a slightly different user, but both are united by high-quality workmanship, Qi2 25W support, strong magnetic attachment, modern Semi-solid state battery and pleasantly premium design.
If you're looking for the thinnest MagSafe power bank for everyday use, I would go for the Slim model without hesitation. Its thin body significantly increases the comfort of use and makes it much more desirable to actually use it. However, if you travel a lot or want a larger power reserve, it makes more sense. varianta with a capacity of 10000 mAh. It will offer significantly more energy, while still maintaining compact dimensions and very good workmanship.
