Battery life has long been one of the main factors when choosing a new phone. And the latest server tests CNET took a close look at this aspect. A total of 35 different smartphones were tested and not only individual models but also the overall results of the brands were compared. And Apple It came out as the winner in the test, which must please anyone who cares about battery life, which is probably me.

He came in first place iPhone 17 Pro Max, which outperformed even phones with significantly larger battery capacities. Although it has a battery capacity of “only” 5,088 mAh and does not use the latest battery technology, it managed to beat the competition thanks to the high energy efficiency of the A19 chip Pro and the very close integration of hardware and software. In a way, this is not a big surprise. If we think back to the last few years, iPhones have more or less always been at the top of endurance tests, although they have only rarely won the throne.
iPhone absolute winner
CNET uses two standardized tests. In the three-hour video streaming test (over Wi-Fi), with maxwith maximum brightness and a fully charged battery 100 %Was iPhone 17 Pro Max the best phone everonemv test. It also performed equally well in the 45-minute stress test, which consists of gaming, video streaming, social media browsing, and video calling. Here too, it took first place. Three other models finished right behind it. Applu, including the most affordable iPhone 16E.

The basic also achieved a great result iPhone 17He finished in a tie for second place with OnePlus 15, despite the much weaker equipment on paper. iPhone The 17 has a battery with a capacity of 3,692 mAh. OneThe Plus 15 has 7,300 mAh.
Bottom line, it worked out Apple came out as the best brand in the test with an overall score of 91,7%. Closely behind was the company OnePlus. The tests confirm once again that battery capacity alone is not the only indicator of real endurance. I have to say that battery life is the number one aspect for me. With battery life on my iPhone 15 Pro I'm still satisfied. If I wanted to go further in this direction, I would reach for the version Pro Max. But I am put off by the relatively large dimensions. How are you?
If they had included the Oppo Find X9 in the testPro suddenly it would be iphone 17Pro Max in second place. It has no competition on the market in endurance tests.
Well, it's probably hard when there are mobile phones on the market with better durability 🤔

But battery capacity is not everything :) it's also about optimizing software, hardware and other aspects. And that's where Apple a master in the field.
