China will also be heading to the Red Planet in the coming months, the country's space agency announced. The mission is to be called "Tainwen 1" and will include a rover, orbiter and lander. All three devices will of course have scientific instruments. China has thusancand become the third country to land on Mars, after the United States and Russia.
