Brand mobile device Apple, iPhone and iPad, are the two most used devices used by Czech users to connect to the Internet. Almost a third of all page views made by Czech users on websites participating in NetMonitor research come from devices of the brand Apple. The popularity of the iPad has remained at the same level over the past year. This mobile device reached its peak in page views around mid-2012, when more than a fifth of all mobile page views came from it. Subsequently, its share began to gradually decrease and has been at a stable level since the beginning of 2016. Now roughly 10% of all page views made on the websites of measured companies come from the iPad, which makes this device the most used tablet on the Czech market.

In contrast, the share of page views made from iPhones has been steadily increasing over the past year and a half. As recently as October 2015, the share of both views was the same, at around 13% of all views. Subsequently, iPhone growth and during 2016 its share increased from 13% (January 2016) to 19% (December 2016). After a February drop (15% of views), in March the share of page views made from the iPhone increased to 21% and continues to show an increasing trend. Mobile device statistics, which track the share of page views generated from individual mobile devices available on the Czech market, show that for now no device will threaten the strong position iPhone and iPad. The statistics come from the website www.rankings.cz. The statistics were prepared for Letem svetem Applem the Gemius company, for which we thank them.
