Apple alongside new ones MacBooků Pro, which lacks some ports, i.e. all except USB-C, also introduced a new adapter that serves as a reduction from USB-C to Thunderbolt port. This fun will cost you 1490 CZK, which is quite an interesting amount considering that Apple he was the one who started pushing Thunderbolt years ago, and also the only one pushing it as a revolutionary thing to this day. Now the ground has collapsed after the port and if you have a Thunderbolt gadget, you have to pay extra for the reduction.
Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter lets you connect Thunderbolt or Thunderbolt 2 devices (such as external hard drives or Thunderbolt displays) to any Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) port on your MacBooku Pro.* And because it's a bidirectional adapter, it can also connect new Thunderbolt 3 devices to a Mac with a Thunderbolt or Thunderbolt 2 port.
well, nothing today, I'm determined, I'm going to buy MB in the afternoon Air 13
I have the same problem, the new pro ones are beautiful, I personally like them a lot and I would bear the price, but it's just too early for a usb-c, every client gives me everything on a normal USB, I use a gaming mouse for work (because of the size) and the it's also USB... it's just that usb-c is still too young for it to work
Applsman, I think you're stuck in time. All other manufacturers will go towards USB-C and it will become the common standard. USB-C has more positives than negatives. I have one USB-C and it's perfectly fine ... defacto I only use it for charging. I have all my data on a NAS or stream it. And when I need to plug a classic USB into macbookWell, I don't use a reducer, but I stick it in the NAS, so it appears on my Mac as if I stuck it in there. The transfer speed is also fine, I'm shooting gigabytes per minute (via Airport Extreme). And if you're talking about a mouse, it's only a matter of time before they all come with USB-C. And it's not a problem to buy one anyway mini reduction. You won't even know it's there.
Sorry, I wanted to respond to Lukas. It may be true that "one day" everyone will go in the direction of USB-C, but it may not be. And you can do whatever you want with a NAS. When I get data from someone on a flash drive, I tell them - excuse me, I'll just go home to the NAS to transfer it? And when it comes to mice, quite appI understand sman's direction towards gaming mice, I feel a bit similar. Except that gaming mice are usually intended for desktop computers, so USB-C won't be available there right away.
So I have a decision to make today..
From the title I can sense that just like me, the editorial team is quite, I don't know, if exactly disgusted by what came yesterday :(
Well, well, you buy NT for 60+ and for +- 5k different cables so that you can connect at least a little to their new product. Nevermind, Apple he won't get a penny from me this year...
That wouldn't be the best, but this cable from Apple "BRANDED" is neither flexible nor reinforced and will fall apart like all these cables of theirs. For the price it's GARBAGE.
Roman Zavřel: wouldn't it be possible to write the prices in brackets and in euros? Like the Czech months? It doesn't necessarily have to be in euros even in the title, but when I click on the article, I will see an advertisement, so I would also like to see the data for which I clicked on the article.
I don't want to dig, I don't want to hate, we "get to know each other" from discussions and emails, so take it as a tip. Do it for the people too, there is certainly a lot of traffic from Slovakia, for which we deserve at least the data in brackets.
And yes, it is not a problem to think about the amount, but it would be better to read it straight away, how about trying to make this tip a rule for every editor? The quality/level/professionalism of the articles would immediately increase.
