Nestit happens so often that thanks to patents and trademarks, we would know what Apple prepares. Well, it seems Apple gave us tooneis a clear indication that we can expect the introduction of the iWatch in the near future. As detected by the server MacRumors, the company began to apply in many countries of the world for the extension of the trademark "Apple” also to category 14. Specifically, this is the category “jewelry”, in which it is possible to classify trademarks for products that have to do with these luxury accessories.

Category 14 includes, among other things, clocks and watches, which are mostly made of metals and luxury materials. This can be a clear indication that Apple is indeed preparing an iWatch, and with a high probability it will be a product that will be made of luxury materials. This would be confirmed, among other things, by the recent statement of analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who claims that Apple plans to introduce several versions of the iWatch in 2014, with the most expensive ones selling for several thousand dollars.

Apple so he really plans to create a premium product that is not seen very often. Well, despite that Apple seeks to extend the trademark in the world, has not yet done so in its home country. Entries in the USPTO database do not even now contain mentions of category 14 in the trademark Apple. Acquiring trademarks is further proof that you Apple wants to protect the ground in the field of watches, where many competitors have already managed to present their solutions. These include the Samsung Gear 2, LG G Watch and Motorola Moto 360.
