Okay, there's no point in wondering why the TomTom stand Car The second generation kit costs more than a full-fledged car navigation system from TomTom. Let's take a look at what many of you have already mentioned in the comments. TomTom introduced a new generation of its multifunctional smartphone stand at the turn of July and August.one a iPhone with name Car Kit. While the first generation of this iPhone car mount was primarily intended for owners iPhone 2G, which lacked GPS navigation, the new version is intended not only for iPhone 4, iPhone 4s and older, but also other iPhones.
Some of our readers believe that if he should Apple actually introduce a new one in a month or two iPhone equipped with the so-called Apple Mini Dockem, it is very unlikely that TomTom would now introduce Car Kit equipped with standard 30pin koneOn the other hand, this device would subsequently only be compatible with iPhone 5, since with the proviso that if Apple introduces mini dock konewhich will make a reduction from new toonewhich is already being counted on for the old one, but people and the media are not yet flirting with the fact that it will be the other way around. It is therefore unlikely that in the near future there will be devices compatible only with iPhone 5, at least not until its introduction.
2500/- for a fancy holder with a charger and an integrated handsfree doesn't sound like much to me.
I don't know what to say nice about it. Tomtom has been losing its market dominance for a long time. I bought a 4S in April and the first application I bought for it was Tomtom. Unfortunately, I constantly wonder how I could have been so stupid again. It is not possible to interrupt navigation, there is no notification of your own POI without neck-breaking pains, etc. I got lost with it again yesterday (non-existence of descriptive numbers in many cities). The bra at an absolutely luxurious price only underlines it all.
I also own a TomTom on my iPhone and a new mount and I can't complain about either! The mount is absolutely great, the built-in microphone is probably the best I've had in my car! I drive with my TomTom every day and I still love it. nestI'm afraid I'm lost, and if anything, it's sometimes good to use your brain and start thinking a little ;) and no, nochat blindly driving into traffic lights, etc. Since I have the HD Traffic service, I have been warned about everything in time and I happily avoid traffic jams or sudden closures ;)
I would be quite annoyed by the constant payment for upgrades. I have Navigon in Iphone It's been three years since the first day of its release and there's no charge for updates or upgrades. Everything is free for life. And it's a great navigation.
Well, I don't know how Navigon can update traffic 30 times an hour... I need to drive and not stand in traffic jams or accidents, so some 62 CZK per month of HD Traffic won't rip me off somehow, you might stand in queues and burn the same amount for the banal sometimes more... Maybe not, maybe you're from a smaller town or a weekend driver...
PS: I love people who have a phone for 20k and cry when they have to pay 0,79 ec for an application ;)
>>> iMac: Well, this was true of Navigon's lifetime maps less than a year ago, but not so much today, if you want to have the latest versions...

Ah :-) It must be fresh, it's been about 2 months since I downloaded a new update and without fees.
iMac: exactly the opposite. TomTOm constantly updates everything for free, including maps. Navigon is only navcore alias SW as such, the map materials have been paid for for about a year when updating, or there is a map update with a subscription. who bought the garmin, it's a backhoe :- ( I have full Europe from both nav and tt, but I already turn on the nav very exceptionally. Its navigation on roads is already quite famous :- (
