Roger Waters, one of the biggest musical icons of the last century, the author of timeless albums such as Dark side of the moon or The Wall, spent the last days of last week in Prague. He held two straight concerts here, where he performed the best of his work and an incredible performance, full of everything you expect from Pink Floyd, in front of a sold-out O2 arena. Of course, I couldn't miss this event, and as it turned out later, it was not only an unforgettable experience, but also quite an interesting topic for an article. First, he let the children sing his probably best-known composition Another Brick In The Wall, then he built a factory right in the middle of the hall, above which he let a symbolic pig fly and projected the evil of humanity on its wall, and finally he created a symbolic pyramid from lasers.
Just then, a factory appeared in the middle of the hall and the song Pigs (Three Different Ones), inscriptions and drawings also appeared, which clearly refer to Apple. The song itself is about a trio of people that Waters refers to as pigs. In three stanzas, he gradually addresses all those who, according to him, make up the top of society, but also its bottom, especially the moral one. Although these people are successful, they often lack moral values, according to him. Waters considers businessmen who hide only for money and manipulate people to be ridiculous. The first part of the text is dedicated to them, in which he does not talk about anyone in particular, but simply addresses all similar personalities and companies. The second and third parts are then dedicated to Margaret Thatcher and Mary Whitehouse.
Roger Waters complements this song with visualizations that are intrinsically associated with him, and while on his The Wall Live tour he chose companies such as Shell for the visualizations for this song, this time he focused on Apple. This is clearly depicted by the following creations, which all spectators of the Saturday and Friday concerts had the opportunity to see. The visualizations show slogans preceded by the letter "i" symbolizing the products Applu and personalities and creators who have iconic white headphones connected directly to their heads.
I was there and that they would fight back Apple I didn't notice…
So you don't think those visualizations belong? Apphuh?
So - Pink Floyd today exists apart from bass player Roger Waters. That for a. For b. The Animal album is about an allegory of animals, which are divided into dogs, pigs and sheep. There is probably no need to describe their characteristics. There is no mention of any three pigs in Pink Floyd's composition. Waters, who is known for his fake singing, is also materially crooked, so he needs to drive his singing through the computer - so the computer does not like everyone, but especially world leaders, as he revealed with Pink Floyd on the Final Cut album. The use of small letters even before words can give a connection with Apple, that's all.
Dotcom. Do not provide false or misleading information here. Pink Floyd is no longer miniThey have been out of existence for at least 4 years. The last line-up from 2014 (when the Floyd released their last album made from scraps) consisted of just Gilmour and Mason. Wright has been dead for 10 years. Pink Floyd's last concert together was on May 10, 2007 in London (without Waters, but under the Pink Floyd banner). So Pink Floyd as a group has effectively been out of existence for 11 years.
Large and successful companies also have their opponents.
But that's not necessarily a bad thing. Just look how Apple bends its principles in China, in the depths of a communist dictatorship, just to avoid losing a large market. The problem is that companies are not actually run by CEOs, (Jobs, Cook) but shareholders who are only concerned with maxprofit maximization and who may not have a conscience behind the anonymity of the action. If Cook started acting right at the expense of profit, he would be dismissed by the shareholders... So he just maintains a balance between reputation Applu a maximal profit. No romance…
Of course, he muttered about the PF think tank as a March registrant, which, even if they don't perform, is still led to Gilmour and Mason. And "new CDs" are always being released, most recently the fantastic Early Years box. And the releases are under Gilmour's thumb. The truth is that the last album Endless River was weak, the more Floyd's sound resembles Gilmour's solo albums - the last one from 2015. And Waters still makes a living from Wall's presentation - it's a fact that he practically wrote it himself. And please use words like false and liar where appropriate. :0) otherwise you didn't mind the content of my sentences. I guess so.
