OS X Mountain Lion (version 10.8) was released in the summer of 2012. It was the last paid update to OS X (later macOS), with all subsequent versions of the system being offered for free starting with OS X Mavericks. The system also introduced a new malware blocking system called Gatekeeper, integration with online services Applu Game Center and iCloud, integration Facebookua Twitter, replacing the app iChat Messages version from iOS, the version of the notification center from iOS, the Reminders app, which allows users to create lists and set notifications for themselves, the Notes app from iOS, function AirPlay Mirroring, allowing you to wirelessly mirror your Mac screen to Apple TV, or the ability to manage "dashboard" widgety in a user interface similar to that of the application LaunchpadThe system ended support in November 2015.
