Despite having lived in Slovakia for part of my life, I am willing to admit that the earth is round, and I even believe that what we see in the sky are contrails and not chemtrails. Sometimes I even eat something with a frog on the packaging Billa GatesI'm still kind of living like that. Still, I sometimes wonder how safe it is that I've had headphones in my ears for several hours a day for a few years that communicate wirelessly. Of course, if it were dangerous, it probably wouldn't be a product that's sold in all countries in the world, including countries like Sweden.carsko and so on. Still, I thought I'd like to try out the latest trend, the one that I, as a classic boomer, fell in love with sometime in 2016 with the arrival of the first AirPods. That's why I ordered EarPods with USB-C, to try out what it's like to use wired headphones again after 10 years.

I have to say right off the bat that I'm not someone who primarily uses headphones to listen to music. I mostly use them for making calls, listening to podcasts, or watching videos. Over the past 10 years, I've AirPods have become an essential part of my life and I use them every day. I was curious if I would get used to living with a cable again. HowoneYou can find out how my EarPods testing went in the following lines. By the way, if you are also interested in our EarPods review from 2012, is still available. Review AirPods Pro 3rd generation then of course it is also on LsA.

The first thing that surprised me was the sound. With $19 headphones, you don't expect them to sound very similar to the ones you get when listening to podcasts, videos, or even trailers for the latest movies. AirPods Pro 3rd generation. Yet it is. The bread starts to break when you play music and the better the music, the more you feel the difference. But I have to be honest, I was extremely surprised that when listening to things on YouTube except for music, there is a difference between the EarPods and AirPods Pro 3 is relatively negligible. Again, in the case of music, the difference is huge, but in the case of videos or playing some mobile games, you will not feel it at all. The only thing you will notice right away is that if the person you are watching is prone to this, you will hear much more hiss than with AirPods. The same is true in the case of calls, where the person on the other end hears much more pronounced hissing, and even though the microphone quality is not bad, when calling from AirPods Pro the voice is simply more pleasant to listen to.

I understand that some things are very personal and if you use headphones differently than I do, you may not mind some things or vice versa. However, I often use only one AirPod, for example, when I'm walking the dog and talking on the phone or when I'm going to bed and falling asleep while listening to a podcast. At that moment, the second earbud of the EarPods really bothered me, and I was also quite afraid that because it was hanging on the cable itself, I would tear it somewhere or something would happen to it. When you use both headphones, this problem of course disappears. Likewise when listening in bed at night, where the problem is even worse. In the case of AirI don't have to worry about anything with the Pods, but with the headphones I'm worried about how they'll turn out when I fall asleep, and also about not getting tangled in them in some awkward way.

Another thing that advocates of wired headphones versus AirPods is the absence of any charging. This is of course true, because wired headphones do not need to be charged. Moreover, if you only use AirPods and no other devices, you can even turn off Bluetooth on your iPhone and thus further save battery on your phone. On the other hand, quite frankly, unless you really have a five-year-old AirPods, I can't even imagine being an extreme user. AirPods the situation when you run out of battery. The headphones charge extremely quickly, the case also and they last longer than you in all circumstances. I often fly across the Atlantic and perhaps during the flight the only situation when I run out of battery after four hours AirThe pods run out and I have to listenchat a few dozen minutes of airplane noise before I can charge them again to handle the rest of the flight. That means I have about seven and a half hours of the eight-hour flight AirPods in my ears and I have to charge them for half an hour. But that's honestly the only situation where the battery life bothers me. AirPods somehow limits. What about battery saving in iPhone concerns, I still can't turn off Bluetooth because of CarPlay a Whoop, so unfortunately this advantage also disappears.

But not to insult cable lovers, I have to say that I really like the controls on the cable. I understand that it is quite high because of the integrated microphone and you have it next to your face, but if it was a little lower on the cable, it would be ideal. It definitely makes playback control much better than on the AirPods. Plus, it can do almost the same thing as controlling it directly on the AirPods and it could do it 13 years ago. So I have to rate the remote control as a very nice bonus for Earpods.

To be completely honest, when it comes to some health issues, I... AirThe pods have never caused any problems and if they have, it's definitely not something you'd feel or perceive and it's not something that would go away after a week or a month of using wired headphones. I believe there are things that are not healthy for us, but on the other hand there are so many of them these days that eliminating them all is not really possible. So I'll stick with my own AirPods Pro 3rd generation. I don't see any objective reason why I should change them for wired headphones. Of course, I'm talking about headphones for a few dozen dollars. Personally, I haven't found anything that would suit me better than EarPods. AirSubs.

I intentionally used EarPods because they are currently the trend among teenagers. I understand that some of the things I dislike about them would be compensated by better quality and better headphones. Then there is no point in talking about the fact that if you pay the same money for wired headphones as for AirPods Pro 3rd generation, you get better sound. But honestly, I can't think of anything that would make me personally go back to using wired headphones. Of course, I'm not talking about thousands of dollars worth of music headphones. But in terms of regular headphones, which I mostly listen to podcasts with, audiobooks, videos and other things, I don't see the slightest reason to go back in time. I understand that I may be a boomer who doesn't understand new trends, even though I have Jordans on my feet and yzomandias in my ears, but I'd like to remain a boomer who doesn't have wires hanging around his head. The only thing that would really convince me would be some reliable research that would actually prove the harmfulness of wireless true wireless headphones. Until I see him, I will continue to love my AirPods!
