A large battery usually means a thicker and heavier phone. However, with the new mid-range V70 Lite 5G, vivo has tried to circumvent this compromise - it has put a 6,500 mAh battery in a slim body. The phone is available on the Czech market with a current discount of CZK 8,999.
Capacity without compromising thickness
The key is the BlueVolt battery, which vivo uses across its portfolio and which manages to pack high capacity into a slimmer space. The result is a phone that, at 194g and 7,6mm thick, is no different from the average, but with a much higher energy reserve. In practice, this means a day full of navigation, streaming, photography and calls without having to look for a socket – and for less demanding users, even two.
Fast charging and a five-year outlook
Large capacity in itself nestIt's a shame if charging takes forever. The V70 Lite 5G therefore supports 90W FlashCharge, with which it can go from 1 to 100% in about 52 minutes - even a short break before leaving will provide energy for the rest of the day. For longer gaming, the Bypass Charging function is also activated, which powers the system directly and limits heating during charging. vivo also aims for long-term cell health: by default, it expects at least 1,600 charging cycles, which corresponds to about five years of battery health.
Efficiency that keeps the battery charged
What consumes energy also affects endurance. Octa-core platform MediaTek Dimensity The 7400-Turbo, manufactured using a 4nm process, focuses on efficiency as well as performance, and gamers are also helped by the mode Ultra Game Mode along with the Smart Cooling system. The 6,77″ display is based on an AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz frequency and brightness of up to 3,000 nits, i.e. on technology that, unlike LCD, does not illuminate the entire surface at once.
The rest of the equipment only completes the overall picture: the main camera uses a 50MPx Sony IMX882 sensor with 2x lossless zoom, there is also an 8MPx ultrawide-angle lens and 32MP selfie camera. The phone has IP65 resistance, stereo speakers provide sound, and runs on Funtouch OS 16 on top of Android 16.
Price and availability
vivo V70 Lite 5G has been available on the Czech market since the beginning of July in the 6 GB / 256 GB version with a recommended price of CZK 10,999. However, a discount of CZK 2,000 is valid at selected retailers until the end of July, with which the phone will cost CZK 8,999. It is available in black and blue will be added during August varianta.
