If you're an emoji lover, we have good news for you. The Unicode Consortium has approved a new set of emoji that will appear on virtually all major platforms, including iPhones, in the future. Apple Although they will traditionally prepare their own graphic design, the list of new features is already known.

The new set includes a total of nine new emoji, or seven completely new characters and two combined ones. varianty. Users can look forward to, for example, a scattered face, a meteorite, a cucumber, a butterfly, two thumbs, a net, a lighthouse, or an eraser.

There's one small catch, though: Even though the new emoji have already been approved, they won't be coming to iPhones right away. Apple will have to edit them graphically first and then add them to one of the future updates iOS 27. If the procedure is the same as in previous years, they could arrive with one of the spring system updates, not with its autumn release.

As always, it will not be Apple is the only one to offer new emoji. Unicode only defines their appearance and meaning, while each manufacturer creates the design itself. The same emoji will also be available on phonesonech with Android, in Windows on other platforms as well, they will just look slightly different. If you are wondering when exactly the news will appear on the iPhone, Apple has not yet announced a date. However, given the current schedule, it can be expected that users will have to wait a few more months for them.
