Song lyrics now directly on the in-car display
Musixmatch uses live activity support in CarPlay, which displays lyrics directly on the infotainment screen and continuously syncs with the song currently playing. The lyrics scroll in real time, similar to what users are used to on their iPhone.
However, there is one limitation to consider. Lyrics are not displayed inside the standalone Musixmatch app in CarPlayInstead, they work through a system of live activities that are projected directly into the car's interface. The developers have also published a detailed guide to solving any problems that may arise when using this feature.
There was also news Apple Watch

Apple WatchThis will be especially appreciated by users who listen to music while running, exercising or traveling and want to have the lyrics of the song at hand without having to take the phone out of their pocket.
The developers also fixed several issues
The update also includes several bug fixes in addition to new features. According to the official notes, the developers have worked on better integration with Spotify, fixed issues with lyrics syncing, and fixed a broken button to skip the initial app setup. Lyrics syncing was one of the areas that users complained about the most, so this is a welcome change.

Safety first
While it may be tempting to check texts while driving, the developers themselves point out that the feature is primarily intended for passengers. Drivers should continue to pay full attention to the road and notchat get distracted by the car display.
Musixmatch is available for free in App Store. Pro However, to use all features, a Musixmatch Premium subscription is required. Pro For fans of karaoke, singing along on the go, or simply anyone who likes to know what their favorite artist is singing, this is one of the most interesting new features for CarPlay in recent months.
Phone in hand = fine
Tracking text as he writes = cool feature
It will be dead again...
I wonder why these things happen? Carplay push ... to rely on appealing to common sense and the responsibility of the user / driver is the greatest stupidity
They don't allow videos while driving, but they do allow lyrics...you won't understand. I think they should have allowed videos a long time ago...not for the driver's sake, but for the sake of any fellow passengers.
The videos are already from iOS 26 is also allowed, but unfortunately it is up to the car manufacturers to add support for them. That is absolutely not happening yet :(
Yes, but they won't be allowed while driving anyway. I know those long journeys when I'd like to let the kids watch Netflix, for example, just to keep them calm :D
Thank you, car company, for not supporting this and not increasing the number of deaths on the roads...
