Next to new M5 chipMacBookfor As expected, it was the turn of the new generation of iPad Pro to be introduced. It is also equipped with the M5 chip and, according to the words Applu takes tablet capabilities to a whole new level. It not only delivers a dramatic boost in AI performance, but also faster storage, upgraded wireless technologies, and the most advanced display ever on an iPad. All in a design that's thinner than ever before.

M5 – a new milestone in AI performance

The heart of the new iPad Pro is the chip Apple The M5, designed to push the boundaries of performance and efficiency. With an all-new 10-core GPU architecture, each core has its own Neural Accelerator, the M5 delivers up to 3,5x faster AI performance than the M4 and 5,6x faster than the M1.

This translates into real-world use cases, where iPad can generate images using diffusion models, work with AI masking in Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve, and run large-scale language models (LLMs) right on the device. The new 16-core Neural Engine also works more efficiently than ever before, handling computationally intensive processes with miniwith little impact on battery life. iPad Pro thus becoming a truly standalone device capable of performing demanding AI tasks without the need to send data to remote servers. Apple it elegantly combines performance, privacy and efficiency.

Power that can handle anything

In addition to AI performance, the M5 also delivers significantly faster CPU and GPU. The new deca-core CPU combines four performance cores and six efficiency cores, while Apple again talks about the “fastest processor core in the world.” Performance has also increased in the graphics area – thanks to the third generation of ray tracing, iPad Pro up to 1,5x faster than the M4 model and 6,7x faster than the M1.

In practical terms, this means that whether you're rendering 3D scenes in Octane X, editing video in Final Cut Pro, or creating AI visualizations in Draw things, iPad Pro It handles everything more smoothly than ever before. Plus, thanks to iPadOS 26 optimizations, it can better handle multiple demanding apps running simultaneously, so switching between projects is instantaneous.

Faster memory and storage

Nový iPad Pro It has significantly higher memory throughput, specifically over 150 GB/s, which is 30% more than the previous generation. It also adds up to 2x faster storage, so working with large video files or importing RAW photography is now much faster. Apple It also increased the unified memory capacity on the base configurations – the 256GB and 512GB models now offer 12GB of RAM, half the amount before. Combined with the new windowing system in iPadOS 26, this takes multitasking to a whole new level.

Better tooneactivity thanks to C1X and N1 chips

As expected, extra Apple for the first time, Apple has put its own C1X and N1 networking chips in the iPad. The C1X chip, designed for Cellular varianty iPad Pro, increases cellular data speeds by up to 50% compared to the M4 model while consuming a third less power. Users can count on faster data transfers, more stable connections and more accurate GPS. The N1 chip, in turn, provides support for Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6 and Thread, which brings faster transfer speeds, more stable AirDrop and smoother hotspot operation. The result is a device that can handle modern connections at full power, whether you're in theancelers, on the road or in the field.

The world's most advanced display

As for the display, iPad Pro The M5 remains on Ultra Retina XDR display, which debuted on it last year. Thanks to tandem OLED technology, it offers extreme brightness, precise contrast and brilliant colors, all with support for ProMotion a True Tone. Full brightness of 1000 nits for both SDR and HDR content and a peak of 1600 nits in HDR mode makes it the brightest and most impressive display ever on an iPad.

For professionals working with color or in a studio with harsh light, optional nano-texture glass is also available, which eliminates glare without reducing contrast or color saturation. Apple This time, it also added support for external displays with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, including Adaptive Sync, which will be especially appreciated by video editors and gamers.

The new product is available in space black and silver, with the 11" model being just 5,3 mm thick and the 13" model being just 5,1 mm. It will go on sale next Wednesday, October 22nd, with prices starting at CZK 26,990 for the 11" version and CZK 36,990 for the larger 13" version.
