If you're wondering what actually changed, the answer is simple - a more powerful chipset has been installed, specifically Apple A16, which is according to the words App"lu"noticeably more powerful for everyday tasks and working in iPadOS". Compared to the previous generation, the new product is supposed to be about 30% faster, and compared to the iPad with the A13 Bionic chip, it is even 50% faster. Apple In addition, he decided to compare the device with the best-selling Android tablet, compared to which the new product is allegedly up to 6 times faster.
As for the price, it starts at CZK 9. However, the positive thing is that Apple increased the base storage from 64GB to 128GB, making even the base model very usable. Pre-orders for this iPad start in the same way as for the iPad Air today, with sales starting next Friday.

I had a damn idea that in those 'only' 10k / $349, with 128GB instead of 64GB, there would be an iPes buried somewhere :-/
The A16 in the iPad 11 is not full-fledged like in the iP 15/Plus (6c CPU, 5c GPU), but is unfortunately binned with both -1c CPU and -1c GPU, so basically C-grade 'quality' 5c CPU, 4c GPU :-((
We'll see how big the performance drop will be after the first tests...
I also noticed exactly this, where I thought it wasn't a bad offer and that I might go for it, but the A16 throttling is really disgusting. Not only on the gpu as it has been a few times in the past, but even on the cpu. So that it doesn'tonec actually performance on A15. As it starts me apple It's really annoying how they screw up customers. Jobs with his always simple offer must be turning in his grave when even processors are starting to differ like this.

Hopefully it won't be that bad until A15 (one of the 4 energy-efficient CPU cores and one GPU are cut - here similarly to A15 in the case of iP13 from 5 to 4) and even if A15 is still not completely useless, iP14 and 13 still run more than decently on it, but IT'S GOING TO SUCK :-((
Holt with overall increasing performanceonem know that they can afford to use "waste" like this, especially for basic models, if only they could fairly state it right during the presentation that Axx or Mx has fewer cores in a given product... After all, they are contradicting themselves when they actually deceive each other like this minia slightly more knowledgeable potential customer who is initially excited or, even worse, outright excited, and after discovering such a dishonest trick, a severe cold and disgusted disappointment come like a sore thumb :-(((
