What is rather surprising is that although the iPad of course supports 5G networks, Apple apparently still only relies on a Qualcomm modem and not on its own solution in the form of a C1 modem. There is not a word about its own modem in the press release or on its website. However, what Apple on the contrary, it boasts quite a lot, it is new Magic Keyboard, which offers greater integrated trackpad along with a new row of 14 function keys for controlling screen brightness and so on.
The new product is available for pre-order starting today, with sales starting next Friday.
