It was supposed to be a revolution, but so far everything seems like a big mess. So, with a bit of exaggeration, the life cycle of the first AR/VR headset could be summed up exactly like this Vision Pro from the workshop Applu. It premiered at last year's developer conference WWDC, which hit store shelves in the US in February this year. After an initial wave of interest, however, stores are now picking up and, what's more, people are no longer interested in even trying it out for free in the Apple Storech.

On trouble Apple Vision Pro pointed out in his classic Sunday roundup of world news Applu very well informed reporter Mark Gurman from Bloombergwho spoke to a number of employees on this topicanců Applu, but also with analysts. He managed to find out, for example, that the initial demand for demo meetings where employeesanci Applu showed people the abilities Vision Pro, dropped rapidly. Some users don't even have a problem coming to the meeting without an excuse, because they know that they will not face any penalty as a result, and if they are interested in the future, they just need to stop by the store and the staff will Vision Pro will show even without a reservation. As for sales, in many stores they still hover around lower units per day, and that's only if it's a good day.
However, Gurman himself suffered a huge decline in interest Vision Pro, which Apple is trying to slow down in the US, for example through bold graphic elements on the homepage, it is not surprising. He himself admits that while at first he enjoyed the headset and used it daily, now it sits on his shelf and he uses it once or twice a week. A number of factors are to blame, led by the need to insert and connect the battery, which is inevitably more complicated than sitting down at a Mac or picking up an iPhone. At the same time, he is convinced that visionThe OS is different from traditional systems iOS and macOS is more complicated and therefore not quite for traditional users.
What is perhaps most important, however, is the absence of any “killer” app", i.e. an application that would practically force you to use the device just because of how great and fun it is. It could be a game or something else - the only important thing is that it appeals to the user so much that they will return to the device just because of it. And that's exactly what Vision Pro is missing, which is probably why it is not nearly as popular as it used to be Apple probably hoped. Due to the isolation from the surroundings, according to Gurman, the headset is primarily suitable for "lone wolves" or for activities where you are simply alone or want to be alone - such as on a long flight and the like. Pro use in a team and the like simply does not exist.
Before Applem is now a difficult task in the form of convincing the world that the use Vision Pro it makes sense for many actions. Whether he succeeds or not, however, only time will tell. But the fact is that it is currently being used Vision Pro really very specific, and apart from its use in medicine, it doesn't yet seem that this innovation would be able to establish itself anywhere in the professional sphere. But who knows, he is still at the very beginning of his life.
I'm in shock
Shares will experience a nice decline, because they are not doing well on several fronts.
Apple Vision Pro it's a great piece of technology, but time has moved on and waveguide displays are now popular, but they still have a relatively low resolution and a small FOV.
But they are still improving and onethey will be fully usable in AR glasses for a long time and will probably replace current solutions.
The decline in interest doesn't surprise me. I couldn't wait.onecrowds, when it's still only in the USA.
It's not surprising - from the first news about the start of development, I thought to myself, what do I need so much for?
And I like apples... and see...
imho this is the first product from applu and sincerely dear. (They set the new future) OK.. so let's assume that Apple he is aware of this and did not expect record sales from it. In the end, this first model is more intended for developers to get the most out of it and gather data to expand the possibilities. Honestly, it's still of little use to a mere mortal. I guess everything depends on the near future - i.e. how do they convince innocent people to be willing to put it on their heads and use it every day. I can imagine the use in healthcare, in traffic simulations, etc.. but the vision of 'Ready Player One' it's not yet. Finally, even 3D televisions were quickly a thing of the past in less than 5 years after a big boom and a successful future...
Calling the situation a big trouble probably doesn't fit the situation. Nothing happened that could not have been expected before. That Vision Pro it will certainly not break sales records in the long term AppThey knew very well in advance, not only with regard to the price of the product but also its categorization and possible uses.
