Apple Vision Pro is increasingly being used in healthcare. Stryker announced this week that the first surgery using its app was completed for Vision Pro. In addition, the special application received a "stamp" from the authorities.

Historically, the first operation with Vision Pro was hip arthroscopy performed at Duke Clinic HealthDoctors used the new SportSuite application Vision. This allows surgeons to bring all important digital content directly into their field of view. During arthroscopic procedures, doctors typically rely on multiple physical monitors spread throughout the room to keep track of visualizations and procedural data.
SportSuite application Vision solves this problem elegantly. It allows doctors to see physical objects in the room, but at the same time projects digital tools directly into the space around them. This allows the doctor to view arthroscopic video, data from the HipCheck and HipMap tools, or directly the patient's CT images.
Orthopedic surgeon Chad Mather III, who performed the surgery, praises the technology: “ Using spatial calculations allowed me to customize the placement of key information to exactly suit my workflow. This created a much more comfortable and efficient layout of the room without losing sight of the information I needed. ”
A major milestone for SportSuite Vision is the fact that on July 17, it received so-called De Novo authorization from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Stryker proudly reports that this is the first ever application for Apple Vision Pro, which has been officially approved by the FDA for use in the theatre. And I'm honestly very curious to see whether or not this will become the norm. It seems to me that Vision Pro is starting to fall more and more into oblivion, which is a huge shame considering how interesting a technological product it is. But it is true that as an ordinary user I myself don't really know how to use such a device. So if I find Vision Pro use in a similar vein, I think the investment you make in it Apple put, asonec will not be in vain. But of course it is necessary that the operation with Vision Pro expanded as much as possible.
