Apple has embarked on quite significant changes to the appearance of its services in recent months, and now it's also the turn of Apple MusicThe Californian giant officially unveiled a new visual identity for its music streaming service a few dozen minutes ago, which includes a redesigned logo, new colors, and changes to the app itself. And although it might seem like just another minor design tweak, this time there's a much more interesting story behind the whole project. Apple He didn't just create the new logo in a graphic editor, but had it literally shaped by music, and the result is definitely impressive.

A logo created through music
On a new form Apple Music cooperated Apple with British music producer Fred again.. and company NEST Acoustics. The goal was to create a visual identity that would not only symbolize music, but would be directly shaped by it. And that is why the creators decided on a rather unconventional experiment. They placed the logo in a specially prepared container of mineral oil Apple Music and then, using a reproduction device, they transmitted vibrations caused by musical notes into the liquid. These created various waves and deformations on the surface, which they then captured with a camera. The resulting footage then served as the basis for a new animated identity Apple MusicThe entire animation was created by the actual physical effect of sound on liquid, with the resulting effect filmed directly by camera. A similar approach, by the way Apple already used it during last year's change of visual identity Apple TV.
