The highlight of the opening day at WWDC 2023 v Apple Park was invited to Steve Jobs Theatre, where we were one of the first in the world to see the Apple Vision Pro. The glasses themselves Vision Pro they may seem like a large device at first glance, but the opposite is true and they will cover the same part of the face as classic ski goggles. The only place where they really not only work but are quite large is the part between where they start and where they touch your head.

While on the front side there is the visor itself with the display, cameras, all LED sensors, LiDAR and processors, on the sides we only find the speakers and the attachment of the back padded part that will hold the glasses on the head. Size regulation takes place in the side panels using orange textile "straps".

The material itself, if we're not talking about the display and aluminum frames, most closely resembles earcups. AirPods Max. In essence, the buttons or crown to control the glasses' settings are also based on the design AirPods Max. If the goggles are on, you can see animations similar to the one on the outside of the visor. Siri v iOSThe cover glass is significantly curved in all directions, which Apple achieves a very futuristic look.
There is a magnetic clip on the left connector of the front and rear parts.onewhich resembles a smaller MagSafe and leads to the battery. The battery is the only thing that is Vision Pro necessary to connect, however, in the current version of the glasses that we had the opportunity to see, it is not possible to pull the cable from the battery, but on the contrary, you have to disconnect it from the glasses, which is not a very practical solution to be able to have more batteries with you and change them. On the other hand, the battery is charged via USB-C, so in the case of home use it will be possible to charge it constantly.

Apple would have increased the weight of the glasses by integrating the battery extremely, so he decided to place the battery outside the body of the glasses. As I have already mentioned, they have an extremely futuristic look and the only thing that spoils it is the distance of the display from the face. The rear bridge comfortably hugs the head not only from the sides, but also from the bottom and top, thanks to which the glasses will not slip off the head even during vigorous movement, thus increasing the wearing comfort. According to the employeeanců AppIt is not yet clear in what colors and whether it will be any other than the one presented to us today. Vision Pro available.

Prooh my god why? I work with a computer for several hours at a time, more than 10 hours a day. On top of that, I have glasses with two types of diopters. I can't imagine having this on my head for more than an hour. It's already a problem with VR.
At work, I'm glad that all movements have been reduced to following two controllers, typing on the keyboard, and micro-movements of the mouse. It haschat around for ten hours with his hands on his head like a madman.

I probably wouldn't mind using this for work. Unfortunately, they are absolutely useless in my industry. The night sky before falling asleep that was in the presentation looked really cool, but I can't imagine wearing those glasses to bed. Considering the price, I would be afraid to fall asleep so as not to damage them while sleeping. At the moment, I can't imagine using it for watching movies or playing video games in a typically Czech household. These features are for a person who lives alone. So, of course, it's not quite affordable for the typical household, but there will come a time when it will be.
The weight of the glasses will be absolutely crucial! They can be even cooler, with better resolution, frequency, cameras, etc., but if they are heavy, they will be useless – maxat least for a short time.
When I see how they protrude from the axis of the head, i.e. they will put a significant load on the cervical spine, it is clear to me that every extra gram of weight will be decisive here.
It's enough to have me on your mind. AirpodsMax when working on an iMac, where I have a large display at eye level and my head straight, and then having them on my head while working on MacBookwhere my head is slightly tilted down – in the evening I feel like someone has taken me by the back of the neck with a shovel.
So far, at this size, I can't imagine using it at work for several hours a day, but I really like the product.
