Next year is set to see a significant leap forward in terms of 5G connectivity for iPhones. After Apple phones started rolling it out in 2020 starting with iPhonem 12 (Pro) for the first time, it is intended to support Apple next year, they plan to "fit" their phones with modems that will take them to a new level in terms of 5G compatibility. And literally.

A very reliable analyst, Jeff Pu of Haitong International Securities, found out from his sources, apparently coming directly from AppI hope so. miniat least for iPhones 16 Pro is expected to deploy a new generation of 5G modem from Qualcomm, which is quite revolutionary in many ways. Specifically, it is the Snapdragon X75 modem, which Qualcomm announced in February of this year as an imaginary approach to 6G networks. This modem offers improved aggregation, faster download technologies, a combined 5G transmitter and receiver with mmWave and sub-6GHz technologies, as well as lower energy consumption and dimensions. Specifically, it is supposed to consume about 20% less energy and take up 25% less space in the phone, which is quite crucial given the limited options in the body of iPhones.

It is also interesting that the Snapdragon X75 is expected to include artificial intelligence and machine learning for max5G performance optimization and overall optimization of its functionality. As a result, we really have something to look forward to, because 5G connectivity should reach a completely new level thanks to this modem. Hopefully, it will be as high as possible and we will be able to enjoy it to the fullest in the Czech Republic, where 5G had a relatively lukewarm start.
