WhatsApp in the form in which we have known it since its inception, will soon end. Specifically, we are talking about its limitation, where one user account can only be linked (officially) to one smartphone.onem. Meta, which WhatsApp owns, decided years ago that she would like to expand this communicator even further, which is to be helped by introducing support for one user account on multiple smartphones.onech. And this is what is now starting to be tested on a large scale in beta.

Developers from WA portalBetaInfo pointed out that in the latest beta WhatsAppfor Android with the designation 2.23.8.2, a new feature has arrived in the form of the ability to log in with one account on two smartphones while maintaining maxminimum security measures. However, there are a few catch-ups. When linking one account to two smartphones, it is necessary for the user to set up one smartphoneone as primary and one as secondary, with the proviso that for example chaty performed from the secondary device cannot be backed up directly through it. However, since it is synchronized, you can simply reach for the primary device to perform the backup and the problem is solved.

Unfortunately, because WhatsApp released the ability to connect two smartphones to one account only in the latest beta, and only for one system, so it's a question of when the final version could be released. Just WhatsApp has a habit of both stretching and rushing testing, regardless of the importance of the given feature. Because of this, it is not possible to predict whether we will see an early or later launch right now. However, it is clear that the feature will be available on both Android and iOSbecause in terms of application functionality WhatsAppu never differ.
