It's almost unbelievable, but a few days ago, the most legendary Czech video game of all time, Mafia, celebrated its 20th birthday . Despite its advanced age, it is still loved by many players and, what's more, is constantly played in its original version. After all, the story of Tommy Angel in Lost Heaven is, in a word, immersive. It's even more pleasing that the original version of this game is now available for download on Steam for free until September 5th.
Although it probably makes no sense to describe the Mafia at length, for those who are not familiar with it (which is probably not many among our readers), it is still worth briefly introducing the title. Everything takes place since 1930. After an unintentional clash with the Mafia, taxi driver Tommy Angelo reluctantly finds himself in the world of organized crime. At first, he does not want to get involved with the Salieri family at all, but the promise of large rewards soon changes his mind. As he moves up the ladder, the money gets better and better, but the work gets dirtier. Tommy may not be able toonec will earn the recognition of Salieri himself, but if he becomes a mafia boss, his new life may cause him more problems than his old one. The game description should already make it clear to those unfamiliar with it what a masterpiece it is. So if you are a fan of PC gaming and you still don't have Mafia in your Steam library, now is the best opportunity to do so. We guarantee you won't regret it.
I'm a fan of PC games, but before you run to Steam... it's only for Windows.
As the one who wanted it then has it. Even if for example on a CD... The company itself is shit, everything they did after the departure of one member just screwed up the whole thing. Now he's trying to fix it with this? Or why are they giving away a twenty year old game for free? Like that is a complete mockery. People who had and like the mafia have it. Just an example of how clueless they are and don't know which way to go. I personally have the first two parts at home. But the second part is shit. So on and so on.
The original Mafia isn't on Steam, it's a rip-off.
First, you're commenting on an article that's over 3 years old, and second, it's still there - I found it even though I clicked through this old article. :)
