Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 6 is the name of the latest addition to the family of smart bracelets from Xiaomi. These are especially popular due to their price and also the price-to-function ratio they offer even among our readers who do not want to use Apple Watch, but a simple, light and cheap wristband that records basic activity data is enough for them.
The new Xiaomi Mi Band 6 offers a display size that is almost half that of the previous generation, which brings it to 1,56″ and a resolution of 152 x 486 pixels. MaxThe maximum brightness is then up to 450 nits, which is definitely not low, especially when we consider that the display brightness iPhone 12 Pro is 800 nits. Of course, there is tempered glass protecting the display and an oleophobic layer against fingerprint grease. The dimensions of the Xiomi mi Band 6 are 47,4 × 18,6 × 12,7 millimeters. Of course, the package still includes a rubber strap, which the user can adjust to a size of 155 to 219 millimeters. There are six basic strap colors to choose from: red, white, yellow, blue, orange and brown. However, it is already possible to purchase hundreds of other colors variant.

One of the things that the Mi Band has always excelled at is battery life, and it will be no different this time. The battery with a capacity of 125 mAh provides 14 days of battery life during standard use. Charging will take place in the same way as in the previous generation, using a magnetic charger, and the device will charge from zero to one hundred percent in a little less than two hours. Among the technological gadgets are a gyroscope, an acceleration sensor, heart rate measurement and at the same time blood oxygenation or SpO2 measurement. Thanks to these sensors, it is possible to measure the number of steps, activity, calories burned, distance traveled or, for example, alert the user to a sudden increase in heart rate.
Among the activity items that can be measured with the bracelet, you will find three dozen items, with the bracelet itself recognizing running, walking, treadmill running, cycling, rowing and elliptical trainer and starting to measure these activities on its own. All the functions that previous generations of the Mi Band could do, such as sleep measurement including sleep phases and so on, remain preserved. Thanks to the blood oxygenation sensor and heart rate sensor, stress measurement is also included. There is also variawith NFC, but a basic version is also available without NFC.
Xiaomi mi Band 6 price
The Xiaomi Mi Band 6 is officially priced at €44,99 in Europe and will be available in our market in the coming weeks. The bracelet is currently only sold in China, where it costs 770 crowns in the version without NFCIn the Czech Republic, the price, after conversion from the official European price, is approximately 1190 CZK including VAT.
Personally, I just miss the LTE version with eSIM, but otherwise it's an incredible device for the price. 👍
