Clouds are gathering over Twitter in Russia. The Russian censorship agency Roskomnadzor issued a statement warning that if the social network does not comply with the requirements set by the laws there, it will probably be blocked in Russia. Legal requirements refer to the removal of prohibited information. Russia recently passed laws that allow the authority to partially or completely block internet platforms if censorship or “discrimination against Russian media” is committed on Russian territory.
