Chip exports to Russia drop by 90%

Global chip exports to Russia have fallen by 90% since sanctions were imposed on Russia. The US announced this yesterday miniGina Raimond, the business aunt. She also said that export controls on the Russian aerospace sector have affected its ability to generate revenue and support the military air force. Finally, she threatened to “shut down” Chinese SMIC chips if they are found to be imported into Russia. These chips are made using American equipment and software.
