The desperation of the Russians is taken to the next level. They want Google fined for blocking Russian propaganda channels. The Russian court assessed it at twenty quintillion dollars. If you hear the name for the first time, then the broken number should have thirty-three zeros. Just for comparison, it is worth adding that the estimated value of the world's gross domestic product is one hundred trillion dollars.

This fine has been increasing since 2020, when the American giant removed the channel Tsargrad TV, which was owned by the Russian oligarch Konstatntin Malofeyev. The court said that Google has to pay a total of one hundred thousand rubles for each day that the channel is not restored. In addition, this value doubles every 24 hours. The amount has since been increased by fines imposed for blocking another seventeen channels. Google withdrew from Russia in 2022 after Russia attacked Ukraine. However, it continues to operate a number of its services here, such as a search engine or YouTube. Although the imposed fine is absolutely astronomical, Google does not expect it to have a real impact on the company's operations. What to say about that. Russia is probably running out of money.
