How else can you explain the abundance of such games? Of course, the reason is not only the apparent simplicity of their production, but also the precedent of Candy Crush Saga, which confirmed that there is still interest in such games and that undemanding players can spend a lot of time with them and notchat mainly a lot of money. One of the highest quality, and at the same time the oldest, representatives of the genre is undoubtedly the legendary Puzzle Quest. In its first two parts, it connected the formula of connecting objects of the same color with the RPG genre, set the game in an interesting fantasy world and showed that it is possible to create a completely new successful brand in this way. Almost ten years later, thanks to a surprising announcement, we will return to the main series with the upcoming third part.
The Puzzle Quest series has had a number of spin-offs, the most famous of which have used well-known brands such as Marvel comic book heroes or the world known from the card game Magic: the Gathering. The return to the main series follows the recent purchase of the development studio Infinity Plus 2. They were responsible for the original two installments of the series, and with the new owner came the announcement of a third installment.
