Apple Along with the new products, last night they also announced their prices for the entire world. Pro For us in Europe, who have VAT, customs duties and a two-year warranty included in the price, the prices that apply to other EU countries are particularly interesting. Prices in the Czech Republic are currently the lowest in the entire EU - unfortunately, this is due to the extremely unfavorable exchange rate of the crown against the euro. We will show that Apple could have been stricter on our side and iPhone promore expensive than it is now, but also that in a few months it could again be worth going abroad for a phone.

Let's take the basic model as an example. iPhone 12 Pro with 128GB of memory. The Apple sells within the EU for €1149. In the Czech Republic, it set the price at CZK 29. Thanks to the extreme exchange rate that plagues our country as a result of the uncontrolled coronavirus epidemic, it makes no sense for the phone to go to our neighbors. For one euro now you will pay 27,36 CZK, which means that the phone will cost you 31 CZK when converted from euros to crowns. You will save almost 436 CZK on the basic phone model by buying it in the Czech Republic.

Does that seem like a good deal to you? Yes, of course it is. However, there is one huge but. If you were to buy the same phone in any of the EU countries on 18/2/2020, when the exchange rate was euro 24,90, you would pay €1149 x 24,90, or 28 CZK. And in that case, you would save almost 610 CZK compared to the current prices for which iPhones Apple currently offers It is therefore very important to state that the prices are currently advantageous and you can really buy the phones from us at the cheapest price in the entire EU, but this will change over time as the koruna and its exchange rate return to normal.

It is then a matter of time before the exchange rate returns to normal or whether it will continue to rise. If the exchange rate against the euro and euro will become more and more expensive for us, then phones bought in the Czech Republic will be cheaper and cheaper compared to those bought abroad. However, this will be compensated by a really bad exchange rate. If, on the other hand, the crown strengthens, then it is worth taking a trip to Austria, for example.
