Apple in recent years, it has obtained a number of different patents related to the placement of the fingerprint reader directly under the display. But of course it doesn't end there. When implementing it, it would be enough for us to tap any place on the screen with our finger, which would trigger the appropriate authentication. According to the attached documentation, the reader would have a much larger range and would thus directly cover the entire display. This would also greatly simplify the use. The usage could be even better with, for example, banking applications that ask for authentication immediately after opening. In this direction, the user would only have to tap on the application on the desktop, which would simultaneously verify and launch it almost immediately.
