The biggest ones occurred mainly in the display, which now consists of eight layers, mainly due to the 3D Touch technology, which responds to pressure. Disassembling the display involves 13 steps, making it a very complicated component, unlike previous generations.

The pressure sensor of 3D Touch technology is placed as the last layer under the display, so it is very easy to replace it. In addition to the new 3D Touch display, a haptic engine (Taptic Engine) has also been added.
