We have been seeing pressure-sensitive displays on iPhones since the 6s model, when Apple introduced this technology called 3D Touch with great fame. However, the last two years have already been letting her die, and really loudly. After the analysts' predictions about its demise last year did not come true, it now looks like we will say goodbye to 3D Touch for real this year.
This is how you can adjust the sensitivity of 3D Touch:
The death of 3D Touch was confirmed indirectly by himself Apple some elements in iOS 13, which take over functions that depend on pressure on the display. A little while ago, a report appeared that once again confirms the arrival of iPhones without pressure-sensitive displays. It was taken care of by sources from the DigiTimes portal, which have proven to be quite reliable in the past. This time, they claim that 3D Touch will disappear from all this year's iPhones, apparently due to price savings. Of course, the production of displays without this feature will be much cheaper.

It is also quite interesting that OLED displays for the new iPhones will apparently be produced by another supplier due to their simplicity. According to DigiTimes, BOE has become a company that will be placed alongside LG and Samsung. While the former company produces for Apple Touch Bars for MacBooky Pro and displays for Apple Watch, Samsung focuses exclusively on displays for iPhones X, XS and XS Max MaxLG is also reportedly involved in display production, but it is nowhere near as big as Samsung in terms of quantity. However, that may change in the near future.
Are you satisfied with the design of this year's iPhones?:
The reactions to the removal of 3D Touch are mixed among Apple users so far. One group is against this move AppLu is sad because she has gotten used to using it, but the other one points out the uselessness of this gadget, saying that they will definitely not miss it. Can the modified environment iOS 13 based on long presses on certain points will match 3D Touch technology or not, only time will tell.
I had a 6s with 3Dtouch – I used it a lot… but I bought an XR and I was disappointed with the limited control without 3Dtouch. But now in iOS 13 practically brought back 3Dtouch :) it only works on a longer press, not on pressure ………but thanks to the response of the mechanism the feeling is practically identical, so I understand it quite a bit :)
Well, mainly so that it doesn't stop working for those who support it 😡
In that case, do not update to iOS 13.
Well, it happened to me after the first update that the battery on my iPhone 6s which had 93% maxminimum capacity. So it dropped to 89% within a week. Then the phone heated up more than usual while charging and after disconnecting the charger, the phone discharged within 3 hours. And I would like to point out that this happened when I activated the new feature in iOS13 optimized charging. Now my battery capacity is 54% after I turned off charging, there is no problem with it anymore.

What you are writing about here is haptic touch...
no, I really like using it 😩
I don't care about the new model, but if they support the original, don't touch it. I use it every day, it's great.
I use of course #iPhone8
Removing 3D Touch reduces the weight of the phone, which I welcome. If you compare the weight of, for example, the iPhone 6, which does not have 3D Touch, and the 6s, which has 3D Touch, you will immediately recognize the difference.
I don't use…
Ne
I used to. Now I have an Xr where 3D touch does not work and "longpress" is quite sophisticated, they replaced it skillfully. I don't miss it at all.
I've probably never used it🤷♀️
I never used it 😂
That's really cool… what the hell are we going to do now?

I use 3D touch every day 😔
I use 3D Touch daily, the most frequent display of favorite contacts.
Will be
I have SE – has haptic touch, that suits me perfectly and is enough, I had the opportunity to try 3D Touch, but it didn't seem any better to me, quite the opposite.
For music applications where pressure is used, synths and GarageBand, Haptic touch unfortunately, it will not replace the power of touch.
Unfortunately, it's a step backwards (to stupidity). Tim didn't use it. :-(
