While finding news and leaked photos about iPhone 5 has been a no-brainer for a month now, and we still haven't heard anything about the next-generation iPod touch. Of course, the iPod touch has always been a iPhone and was based directly on its hardware and other innovations brought by the new generation of mobile phones. Unfortunately, only the first generation was almost up to par iPhone without GSM and GPS module. Other generations already had worse hardware, worse camera and overall their performance was lower than the performance iPhone and in every way. The GizChina server has now brought photos of what they claim is the cover for the new iPod touch.
The case is interesting not only because its edges are less beveled than the current generation of iPod touch, but especially because its camera hole is approximately the same size as the case for iPhone 4, respectively iPhone 4s. This probably means only that the iPod touch will get what it lacks, unlike the iPhone, namely an LED backlight that serves as a flash when taking photos or as a flashlight when recording. This would make the iPod touch an even more useful device that can function as a flashlight. Just think of the number of applications that can trigger an SOS call by flashing the LED or applications that use the flashlight, for example, to measure your heart rate. The iPod touch is currently deprived of all of this.
Much more interesting about the new case is the fact that, in addition to the hole for the camera with the LED diode, it also contains another hole located in the lower left corner, just below the camera. Here is really just speculation as to what it could be. It can be either a microphone hole or a speaker hole. However, if we go into a little more sci-fi territory, it is not a problem that this is a hole for a biometric fingerprint sensor, which Apple will probably use it in the future for its products, as it has already invested 350 million dollars in the company developing these sensors. It would not be anything new in IT. Even cheaper laptops from Lenovo and other manufacturers are equipped with a sensor. However, it would be a real breakthrough in the field of music players. However, the opening is apparently too small for that. The possibility of a speaker or a microphone is indeed offered, but such a 3D camera would also be useful. Let us recall the Fujifilm 3D camera, which has been on sale for more than two years and offers 3D filming in HD resolution and also 3D photos.
That would be an interesting feature
This will be another fake, like the long-standing fakes with larger displays on the iPhone and the iPad itself. mini (These things were already written about as done things last year!)
Of course, the iPod touch has always been a variety of the iPod a
But otherwise I don't look for mistakes at all :)
Camera right? I'd like to see how you would hold that iPod if you were taking a 3D photo. And lightning would probably be with both of them, or at least between them.
So the bottom hole would serve either for a 3D channel or it could possibly be any other NFC sensor :P
apple are trying to present the iPod touch as some sort of game console, and I think it's the right way, because apart from playing music, the iPod touch is best suited for playing games, more than iPhone (because you can drain it and still make a call). That's why I think so apple with the iPod touch, it will rather go towards more bloated hardware and adapt it (shape, size, or game controls) at least partially for playing games... so I doubt that it will become apple will try to make a camera ... but I can't see into their heads, maybe it's a 3D camera, but I don't think so yet
With that, oneI disagree with you. iPhone 4 and iPod touch 4G are about the same in terms of performance. Both have a processor Apple A4. Yes, in terms of workmanship and materials used, the iPod loses out across the board. The camera used is terrible, the back scratches immediately, the display is not IPS. What else would one expect for a few thousand? For that price, it's not bad, but iPhone is a little bit different. And carrying an iPod touch and a mobile phone in my pocket? No, that doesn't make sense to me. So the iPod touch is a bit unnecessary and I wouldn't mind if I had it with me. Apple no longer counted and instead stated iPad Mini. But I digress a bit.
