When we return together in September keynote AppIn 2017, you will surely remember the introduction of the iPhone 8, 8 Plus and X. Among other features, these devices also brought a new feature – the possibility of wireless charging. Together with all devices Apple also showed the mat AirPower, which was supposed to wirelessly charge up to three devices, namely iPhone, AirPods and Apple Watch. You will surely remember that Apple in short, he admitted well that he could not handle the development and stopped the project. Fortunately, we have third-party manufacturers that offer something similar. I got my hands on a Yenkee charger, specifically a 3-in-1 fast charging stand.
Package contents and appearance
First, let's look at the contents of the package, which is very simple. You will find a stand, a manual and a meter cable. Nothing more is needed. If we look at the stand itself, I received a white varianta. You have probably seen enough similar devices and Yankee does not stand out in terms of design, which is not necessary in this case. The entire structure is made of plastic, which is definitely pleasant to the touch. A pad for placing the iPhone protrudes from the stand itself. On it we see the Yenkee company logo and the Qi logo. I definitely appreciate that there is rubber under this pad, which prevents the iPhone from slipping. From this "standing" pad we then see an extension to the right side, where they come Apple Watch. The place where the watch belongs is emphasized by a round depression. At the very base we see lightning konewhich is intended for AirPods. So as you can see, wireless charging is only for iPhone a Apple Watch, which certainly doesn't matter. Sinceonewhich just "sticks out" from the structure, you might think that you can charge a second one here iPhoneHowever, the manufacturer prevented this andonewhere is the charging area located Apple WatchThis is definitely a welcome step, as we cannot expect that lightning konewho kept the whole iPhone.
Although it might seem that we have now read all the functions of the pad, the opposite is true. There is another touch button in the foreground. If you click on it, the backlight, which is located around the entire perimeter of the structure, will light up. Personally, I have not used the backlight much. However, the effect is nice and it reliably lights up the entire room. On the bottom we will find ventilation and four rubber feet. So if you accidentally knock the stand over, you do not have to worry about any damage. On the back you will find USB-C toonewhich.
Technical Specifications
Now briefly about the technical specifications. The manufacturer himself encourages the use of a more powerful charger, namely 18W. The use of less powerful ones is possible, but not recommended, as charging will take longer. As you probably guessed, the stand is designed for all iPhones that support wireless charging. So these are the models iPhone 8, 8 Plus, X, XS, XS Max, XR, 11, 11 Pro and SE 2020. The stand supports all generations Apple Watch and so do all generations AirSubs.
Own use
Although I don't normally use wireless chargers, I really liked the 3-in-1 stand from Yenkee. Since I charge overnight, a classic 5W charger was more than enough for me and iPhone i Apple Watch were reliably charged in the morning. I really like the slope of the pad for iPhone. It is usually true that iPhone it's on a wireless charger and if someone texts/calls you, you have a choice. Either iPhone you remove it from charging, or you take it with the charger. Both are very impractical. The slope is very pleasant and you can handle the matters mentioned above without having to remove it iPhone from the charger. Another plus is that you can lay it in a horizontal position and watch a movie on Netflix, for example. Your iPhone se charges even in this case. Personally, I was very afraid of the magnet on Apple Watch, because I don't like my watch hanging around. But the magnet is strong enough and the watch won't fall off even if you move it around a lot with the stand. If I could criticize anything, it's a shame that the stand doesn't support wireless charging AirPods. Personally, I would be afraid of the lifespan of theoneBut it all also depends on how the user behaves towards the device.
Summary
In conclusion, the stand can only be recommended. If you are looking for a device where you can reliably charge iPhone, Apple Watch i AirPods in one place, the stand from Yenkee is just for you. It is worth highlighting the inclination of the pad for iPhone, strong magnet and miniminimalist design. The backlight is just an icing on the cake, which most users won't use much anyway. The Yenkee stand is definitely worth the money.
It's a shame that the stand doesn't support wireless charging AirPods". To mention, if it was made of aluminum and not this plastic molding.
Where is the MFI certification?
The same for ali for half, so a pre-branded ali 100% dream
ProThat's what I asked - so it's useless... I won't put a watch on it without certification.
Such a classic Czech brand. Let's wrap, salt...
And they mostly go for fairly low-cost versions that come from factories. Put bluntly
