If you are a fan of compact laptops and macOS at the same time, we have great news for you. According to many indications, indeed Apple is working on reviving his 12” MacBooku, which was relatively recently removed from its offer. At the time, this step was somewhat incomprehensible, but in the context of the events of recent months it is starting to make more and more sense. This is a machine that is made to test its own processor solution. This is also confirmed by a new leak of technical specifications, which was taken care of by leaker Komiya.

As expected, the heart of the machine will be the chipset Apple A14X, which should be supported by 8 GB of RAM in the lower configuration and 16 GB of RAM in the higher configuration. As for storage, MacBook will receive an SSD with a capacity of 256 GB, 512 GB and probably even 1 TB. We can look forward to a very decent battery life, which should range from 15 to 20 hours depending on the activity performed. The port equipment, keyboard and webcam could disappoint to some extent. Apple because according to leakerand plans to re-equip the Mac with a dismal FaceTime HD webcam with 720p resolution, just one USB-C portem and Butterfly keyboard, this time the fourth generation. Whether it will be as problematic as its previous versions will only be seen in time. On the other hand, the weight and price will please. The laptop should weigh less than one kilogram and cost less than 799 dollars, which is significantly less than what you Apple charges the cheapest MacBook Air. It is precisely thanks to the price that it could become a sales hit, which would Applu managed to convince its users that they did not need to worry about its own processors.

Na WWDC was allowed Apple heard that the first Macs with processors Apple Silicon will be presented to the world by the end of this year. Although he did not say what kind of machines it would be, it can be assumed that it will be 12” MacBook will be part of this wave. The most likely date for its release currently seems to be October, as it is in this month Apple usually organizes its Keynotewith dedicated to Macs and iPads. However, plans may of course be changed several times due to the coronavirus pandemic.
I don't know if I should buy it now. Macbook air or wait for 12 o'clock.
I would wait
Total lowend for 20K, maybe more, that one Apple he is really a joker. I wonder how much the 16GB version will cost with miniAt least a 1TB SSD, as far as I know Apple, so definitely over 30K.
So the pressure for 30K would be even nicer :-)
Only the upgrades are 30k…
ProWould someone put 16GB of RAM and a 1TB drive in such a machine? That's a basic machine for the internet and basic computing.ancElar's work.
Jenda: I don't think 8GB of RAM is fully sufficient for the Internet. I usually see dozens of open pages at the same time with people (and with myself :)) and the browser is their biggest devourer. For me, I recommend 16GB at the expense of an SSD to people who want a so-called internet-only computer. I think you won't make a mistake :))
I wouldn't expect it if the novelty is supposed to have a butterfly keyboard.
