A great new feature is coming to the Rakuten Viber app . Users will now be able to respond to messages in Communities using various emoticons. In line with the growing popularity of communication apps around the world, Viber is expanding the creative expression options of its users so that they can express themselves as naturally and accurately as possible.
As part of World Emoji Day, which is held every year on July 17, Viber asked its users which emoticons were their favorite. They could choose from five – like, lol, surprised, sad or angry (💜, 😆, 😲, 😢, 😡). Czech users chose LOL 😆 as their favorite. More than 2,000 people took part in the survey and 58% voted for the LOL emoticon.
Pro To respond to a message, simply long-click on the heart icon and choose how to respond to the message. And because communication always works between two parties, users have the opportunity to see how others in the Community have responded to the message. Simply long-click on the message and information about the reactions of other members.
