It won't be for the first half of 2020 Apple will be remembered fondly for several reasons. One of them will undoubtedly be the leak of the test version iOS 14, thanks to which the world learned about this upcoming system in advance with a huge number of interesting details. Moreover, the system has apparently not yet released all the interesting things. For example, a few hours ago, it managed to reveal the icon of the new generation of iMac, which should be presented on Monday WWDC.
The icon of the new generation of iMac was first encountered in iOS 14 Russian developer and designer in one person, appearing on Twitter under the name iFinder. Although the icon has a very low resolution, it is clearly visible that it differs from its predecessor designed for the current iMac, especially in the uniformity of the frames. Although they are wider, it can be assumed that this is only so that the icon looks visually better in a small format than with narrow frames. However, in reality, narrow frames are of course to be expected.

It is clear from the icon that the iMac is designed in the same spirit as the one introduced last year. Pro XDR display – without any unnecessary “chins” that would disrupt the symmetry of the product, as is the case with current iMacs. It also seems that the aluminum foot of the computer will receive a slight redesign, which, at least according to the icon, seems to be shaped in the same way as the stand for Pro XDR display – right angled, not curved. However, we will have to wait another six days for the final reveal.
When I look at the first icon and my Thunderbolt display in front of me, I am inclined to think that the first icon is not the icon of the iMac but of the Thunderbolt display...
So bezel-less, huh?
But the holes in the back.. 😕
