One of the most frequently criticized things about the operating system iOS is its low user customizability. With a bit of exaggeration, it could be said that apart from the wallpaper, ringtone and light or dark theme, users are not able to customize anything else. However, this is what Apple according to agency sources Bloomberg change. Soon we could be on the iPhonech set your own default browser and email client.
It's a bit of a paradox. From App Store pro iOS You will find a huge number of different browsers or email clients, but their usability is relatively poor given how little this software is integrated into the overall system. iOS because it constantly prefers Apple solutions and therefore, for example, opening links through Safari or email solutions through the Mail application, even though you don't have to use either of these applications. But that's what Apple according to Bloombergu change and allow users to change their default email client and browser in the settings - in other words, replace Apphunting solutions for their own. Thanks to this, the use of these applications would reach a whole new level, as the system would be as open for them as for native applications Appyou.

At first it should only be possible to change the default mail and browser applications, but over time it could Apple open your system even more and allow, for example, changes to the camera application, thus music or maps. This could theoretically bring about a significant increase in the quality of many applications, as the new option would surely make many apple growers experiment with non-Apple solutions, which would bring greater interest in third-party applications. Bloomberg however, he points out that according to sources, the idea is still in a relatively early stage and Apple she can still whistle or postpone for iOS 15 or more. At this point, all we can do is hope that everything will be brought to a successful conclusion and this gadget will be released in June. iOS 14.
So watch out!!!! I'm going to sit on my ass, tkkos
Maybe I do. I don't use a native email or browser and it's quite annoying to open something else and go 5 more steps than to click one thing.
Uninstall the native email and you're good to go. You don't have to wait for IOS14 :-))
iPhone, Hence Apple I have been using the products for 2 years and I am happy with the style Apple has and how it works. But I wouldn't like him to lose his current form by doing this.
+ I see this as a good move in certain ways
+ change notification sounds for individual apps appwith, such as messenger notification :)
– I would be sorry if it should come close to the Android system. by that I mean that until now it was (is) limited to a certain interface, appearance, notifications, but with this possible arrival it will not lose Apple productwith and by iOS the system has its own look and feel :/
So you're glad you're here. iPhone A notification appears that new mail has arrived, but when you turn on the native application, the mails are nowhere to be found and they are only just starting to download?
I don't care, I use native apps and I'm completely satisfied.
What? He doesn't know how to do it yet and will only learn to do it later? Maybe? 🤭 I ended up on iOS 11, so I thought the guy could do it already 🤭
...interesting that you "finished", but you happily continue here.... so how is it? That you are trying to lead us by the nose and make a joke out of yourself here? :-D
But it doesn't work like that at all. You did the opposite.
What are you talking about? ProCouldn't he comment on this here? Sheep.
Sent from Apple Ipad Air
Why? Did I piss you off? :-D
LOL, I couldn't believe my eyes either, that default clients can't be changed in 2020 🙈 I don't even know which one iOS I finished, but it was iPhone 4S 🙂 And for the excavators – I came here by chance from Google Newsbecause I couldn't believe the headline that jumped out at me 😂
V AppAre they discovering America? :D
I still use the classic email and browser.. I don't have a single problem with it. I handle private emails on it and there's no need to change the browser. You just have to learn to work with it. And I don't have to be a sheep... we all have different tastes in life and technology, so I don't understand why people keep getting offended in the comments and comparing products, whether they have an Android system or not. IOS.. mostly these people have not been able to do anything and will not be able to do anything.. maxmaybe make some tea and send an email at work... maybe someone can dig graves....
Great for me. I use gmail but on safari I got used to it and learned to work with it. But different appI don't use ky from Apple. I would love to be able to set up spotify google maps as primary appky.
