AirPods Pro have been in short supply since their introduction on October 28th last year. Their supplies to domestic retailers are so small that they usually sell out within a few hours of being put into stock, and in the case of the Online Store Applu is the waiting time for AirPods Pro long term approximately one month. Apple refused to comment on the poor availability of his flagship headphones in the past weeks, but he already succumbed to media pressure when announcing the financial results.

Boss Applu openly admitted to reporters from Reauters that Apple simply cannot produce that much AirPods Proto meet the huge demand for them. The company is trying to work with its supply chain to improve availability by increasing production, but the situation is still quite bad. Because of this, it has Apple an absolute estimate of when deliveries could improve and delivery times would be reduced to minimum.
Although Cook didn't directly say why there were problems with deliveries at all AirPods Pro occurred, it is quite likely that they are simply an underestimate of demand. The fact is that after the introduction AirPods Pro Many people did not believe them and even analysts did not predict high sales due to their high price. However, the situation is completely different and according to the vast majority of surveys in recent weeks, interest in them is comparable to the classic versions AirPods. The higher price is obviously not an obstacle. So all we can do is hope that it can Apple beware of similar missteps in the future and we will no longer face product shortages.
I apologize in advance for being off-topic, but are you planning to do an article about applications that are gradually being phased out? one-time purchase is moving towards a subscription model?
Now, with the new version, the popular Fantastical calendar application has just switched to a subscription model, which is also simply overpriced, and as I read the discussions, I am not the only one who decided to uninstall this application after years and switch to a competitor.
However, here I see the transition to the subscription model as its own funeral. So maybe discuss whether the would-be premium features (which are paid for) are seriously worth the asking price and your opinion on the subject in general.
I described it a bit in the comment on Free Applications for MAC from yesterday. I guess I understand that you want their opinion on it. For me it's an overpriced product and they're taking a shit on an existing customer like they did Airmail. Those new features are seriously nestIt costs 1200 a year, Calendars by readdle will offer you that for a few hundred. I tried calendars like WeekCal, etc. yesterday. They look a lot like Fantastical when you set it up that way, but overall the interface is ugly. I'd rather go back to Calendars5 for now. And until Fantastical offers existing customers all the features they had in F2, I won't use it.
I was scrolling through their Twitter again and someone mentioned the Calendar 366 app. It's a separate app for iPhone/AW/iPad and Mac. iPhone costs 180 CZK, Mac around 350 CZK one time purchase! Looks the same as fantastical. I'm considering buying it.. You can use their lite version without any problems, but if you want to set colors, etc., then 180 CZK is not a bad price.
It is so. However, thanks for the tip with Calendar 366, I'll give it a try. I switched to Calendars 5 right after that file with Fantastical.
It depends on what you prefer more. Calendars5 does not need a mac, the icon on AW is not very nice, but I find it more convenient to add things through them, since you set it manually. Again, I don't think the application on the iPhone is very nice, but compared to the rest, it's great.
Calendars366 have similar options in a similar way toooneon a watch like Fantastical, events can only be created by voice. They also have a Mac application, which is also shown in the MenuBar, which is an advantage. And the mobile application is simply copied from Fantastical, but it works well. I bought it, even though I have paid Calendars5. So I highly recommend Calendars 366 in the lite version for testing and then buying the version after customization. :)
Otherwise, I'm curious how Fantastical will handle this. Negative reviews in App It's piling up on the store and Twitter.
Except for minor things, Calendar 366 is a perfect replacement. I also fired up the Mac app and said goodbye to Fantastical relatively unrepentantly.
Thanks again for the tip.
How do I move all the data from Fantastical to another calendar? And if I don't update it, will I still be able to use the old one? I have it on my iPhone and iPad and I certainly won't pay that much for the subscription. It was similar with Zoner Photo studio for Win, a great program at a reasonable price and sometime the year before last they made it a subscription, everyone shouted that it was nonsense, but they still didn't back down, they just do wannabe promotions for a lower subscription price... I left the two-year-old version and let them get on my back.
If you don't update, you'll probably keep the current one.
You use your local calendar in fantastical, don't you?
I'll say it like a nerd :D If you see all your events in the native Calendar app from AppWell, they will be transferred everywhere, because then you allow access to that calendar.
Well, you just have to have it.cloudu saved calendars that you create such as Work, School, Doctor, General, etc. You have them saved on icloudu. Then you can have subscribed calendars, for example, of your favorite football club. I see all of this in the native Calendar application. And if I download Fantastical, WeekCal, Calendars5 or Calendar 365, it always asks me to allow access to the calendar, which I allow so that everything I need is shown there.
I don't know if there is any possibility to have your calendar in Fantastical, which is saved only on your phone. But then it would probably be enough to synchronize Fantastical with the native calendar, right?
That's enough for me, thanks, and sorry for my laziness. I haven't logged into the native calendar in about 4 years, so I didn't even know that everything I put into fantastical was there. I thought it synced across devices somehow "on its own axis". Well, I'll wait if the developers don't hold their noses, which I doubt. Also, if I didn't buy it and the Mac for 1500, I would probably be really angry.
AirThe floors are subordinate to the shops.
I returned them after 2 days.
I bought a sony wf1000xm3 and it's a different dimension.
And then one realizes how bad I am apple well done marketing.
@Majkl ….. he couldn't stand them
Fantastic giant case and charged via cable, huh? Stone!
You Sony servicechatI had a 24-hour loan. I can't let that kind of junk into my house.
Unfortunately, you hit the wrong spot. That's how it is when a person jerks and is knee-deep.
I've owned them for a month now and quite a disappointment. The sound is great. But the program falls out of my ear (the previous version without a problem) and even the "touch" to switch the song does not suit me very well. "Tap" was more pleasant for me. Do you also have a problem with falling out while running or exercising?
Ghost, you need to think twice before buying those headphones. You bought pussy traps to catch simple-minded twenty-somethings, so nestI'm sorry it doesn't hold up when running... ;-)
I got them, I didn't buy them 😉 I don't know why you think you can catch a girl with headphones these days 😉. Plus I don't need it, I just want to have everything from one brand because of the connection...
They also fall out of my ears. I tried all sizes of earplugs and I found the middle size to be ideal – not perfect. I don't use them for sports, I usually have them by my computer when I work somewhere in the field – for example, a cafe, where noise-c is great.anceling. But when I eat or drink something, i.e. move my jaw/open my mouth, after a while they lose their tightness, the sound gets worse and if I tilt my head they would fall out of my ear.
I use PowerBeats for sports and fitness, and they hold great, thanks to the grip behind the ear.
2 Duchacek: they don't fall out of my ears even when running, with the middle ear cups they stay as if glued :)
But I agree with the not-so-practical skipping songs by touch...the tapping on the older APs was ideal :(
I also liked the taps better, but I got used to them. I only wear them on the subway and on the plane anyway. I use the classic ones for calls and general listening. airpody, because the spikes hold me well, but it's still not very comfortable against the balls.
and now that the virus is in China, it will be even worse with production ;-)
