Od blowing the whistle wireless charging pads AirPower will soon be a full year old. During this time, several rather interesting chargers have appeared on the market, which had different functionalities. AirPower miniHowever, most of them were not very successful. However, Zagg has decided to change this at least partially, as it will try to compete with ZENS, which has its own version AirPower is already selling.
At this year's CES 2020, Zagg gave a glimpse into the development of a special wireless charger that should AirPower perfectly. According to Zagg's head of marketing, this charger will be released on the market under the Mophie brand, whose products can also be found in Apple Storech. Mophie already offers several different wireless chargers and stations, but the new one should differ from them in that it will not matter where you place the device on the pad. How is that possible?

Wireless charging works by "connecting" two coils. One of these coils is located on the back of your iPhone (and therefore any other device that supports wireless charging) and the other coil is located in the wireless chargers themselves. Once you place the two coils precisely on top of each other, charging will begin. In larger wireless chargers there are more of these coils, for example two or three next to each other. Between them, there is a place where the device simply does not charge. So if Mophie manages to construct a functional wireless station with a seamless system of internal coils (exactly on this one she had AirPower, according to available information, burned out because its coil system suffered from overheating), which means that it will not be necessary to place products in precisely designated places, will in this respect come significantly closer to the concept AirPower. Unfortunately, with support Apple Watchwhich was at AirPower is planned, but the charger cannot be counted on. Likewise, we will not see animations informing about charging individual products. We will probably have to wait until the official launch, which is expected before the end of this year, for further information about the product and its design.
