Over the past few months, developers from all directions have been literally bombarding us with retro games, often playing on a nostalgic wave and trying to impress with their visuals and honest gameplay. So far, this trend has mainly concerned adventure games, arcade games and various shooters, but fortunately there are still studios that have not forgotten the good old role-playing genre. This is the case with the RPG Queen's Wish: The Conqueror, which was announced at the beginning of the year and now boasts a release date.

There are so many old-fashioned and honest role-playing games these days, and only a few dare to remind us of the good old days of the 90s, when gameplay and story were paramount. Nevertheless, even today, some developers still dare to take this step and release a retro RPG that, although it does not reach today's standards, is a beautiful reminder of times gone by. The same fate also befell the game Queen's Wish: The Conqueror, which was originally announced at the beginning of the year, just after the end of the Kickstarter campaign. The creators wanted to see if the title would have enough response and nestThey were surprised. More than three times as many people were selected as needed for development, and countless positive comments fell on the heads of the developers from Spiderweb Software. Thanks to this, the game was released on Steam in September and now comes with the announcement that we will soon be able to play it on mobile devices, including iOS.

We will take on the role of heroes in the country of Haven, who must confront the rebels and prove that they are capable warriors. However, it will not be a mere battle between good and evil, which we are used to from the vast majority of other games. It will be up to us whether we decide to stick to the plan and re-conquer the lost colonies, or turn against our homeland, the entire kingdom, and join another nation. There will be three of them in the game, and of course we will be able to choose whether they will be our enemies or allies. In many ways, the title is similar to Mount and Blade or similar strategic RPG games, where we can achieve our goal using several methods. Of course, there will be control of our entire group, fighting against mythical creatures in turn-based battles, and exploring the vast game world. We will see whether the game can offer, in addition to nostalgia, a good dose of fun and dozens of hours of gameplay. We will only find out on December 4, when the game Queen's Wish: The Conqueror is released.
