Press Release: Company QNAP® Systems, Inc. (QNAP) released QTS 4.4.1 today beta 3, the latest version of a recognized operating system QNAP NAS. Local cache support implements a low-latency approach to alleviate access speed concerns. VJBOD Cloud supports ten services in the area cloudof object repositories (including Amazon S3®, Google Cloud™ and Azure®). Connectivity features cloudVJBOD storage and local cache Cloud allow for data to be used in cloudat LAN level speed.

In addition to the VJBOD application Cloud support QNAP US too CacheMount, file solution service cloude-repository that allows local caching for connected cloude-storage and provides comprehensive hybrid cloudenvironment to optimally meet user needs in various use cases. CacheMount replaces the Remote Connection feature in File Station and Connect to Cloud Drive. Users must install CacheMount in App Center for using remote connection services.

Key new features and improvements in QTS 4.4.1 beta 3 include, among others:

Multimedia Console unifies all QTS multimedia applications into one tool, thus enabling simple and centralized management of multimedia applications. The Multimedia Console also allows you to configure the CacheMount share as a folder for background transcoding.
Queue Station integrates Microsoft® Office Online and allows users to preview and edit files Word, Excel and PowerPoint stored on the NAS online.
Users can create and centrally manage VJBOD volumes Cloud in the item Storage and Snapshots and use Resource monitor for monitoring volumes cloudat VJBOD.
