When Apple last Monday, he introduced new products to the world, led by operating systems iOS 12 and iPadOS, caused quite a stir among Apple fans. However, paradoxically, this could have been even greater if he had not forgotten to mention the arrival of a new feature that a huge number of users have been waiting for for many years, namely Bluetooth mouse support. This expected improvement was “introduced” only by the first beta testers who came across it in Settings, specifically in the Accessibility section, where it can be managed quite well. However, it is this location that many users are scratching their heads over.
ProWednesday iPadOS looks really nice:
Given the overall concept of the mouse in the environment iOS/iPadOS is more than clear that this is an assistant primarily for disabled users who may have difficulty working with a touchscreen. The mouse cursor is relatively large, which may bother ordinary users more than entertain them. Despite the obvious targeting of mouse support at disabled users, many Apple fans are of the opinion that this element should have been placed in a much more visible place, ideally directly in the first Settings tab or in Bluetooth, where a mouse profile would be created and it would then follow the model AirPods are also easy to manage. At the same time, some people say that more customization options, especially with the cursor, would not hurt. This sharp feedback may have surprised even the developer himself. Apple, who allowed himself to be heard in one of the interviews a few days ago, that he recognizes that the usability of some elements of Accessibility is much greater among users than he originally intended. In other words, Apple apparently, when developing some elements of the system, he did not fully consider that they would be used by users other than those for whom he intended them.

It is difficult to say at this point whether such a statement can be considered an indication that mouse support in iOS and iPadOS in the coming months Apple will still work or not. However, the fact is that the excitement caused by this news was really huge, so it is quite likely that Apple has satisfied his customers one hundred percent, he will have no choice but to tighten it to exactly the version in which most of them demand it. Only time will tell whether it will already be in the first versions of the new systems or we will have to wait a few more months for improvements.
PoneHow late. Today they are technically dead.
Mouse support? tvl you really don't understand that this is nonsense and apple it never adds there? ipad is a tablet, a touch device ;-))))
Already added it :)
that was the irony.. Those articles and comments from “happy users apple", "apple lovers" and other similar cases about how stupid the mouse on the tablet is. The whole herd will have to turn around and run to the opposite side ;-)) Just like with USB disks :-)))
I won't take your opinion, but I personally think that the mouse support was a blessing for an awful lot of users.
